Outside the OT, Jason Court has got to be my favorite actor portraying a Jedi. He wasn't the greatest actor, but it worked. Kyle Katarn was a friggin baddass.

He was still cool in the other games, but Dark Forces II was epic. Shame Star Wars video games haven't been as fun since.

Has a striking resemblence to Johnathan Frakes

I think he looks more like Troy from Benidorm ;-)

i can see that

Also, i think the PT just needs to be left alone. I'm not saying Ady couldn't do an amazing job. But i've watched all six of them in a row and i see no point in touching them.
What is it with people not thinking Ady should try to edit the prequels. Let's not discourage the guy! Not only is he not starting till he's done with the OT, he's going to redo ANH first. We'll have all 3 versions of what the SEs should have been. If people don't like his PT edits, you don't have to worry about him getting burnt out on them because you'll already have the edits you want. Let him try when the time comes. At the very least he can add some visual continuity by not making the lightsabers pointy and have them be the same colors as his OT...

I'm not trying to at all, i've just yet to see a good edit to the PT is all i'm saying. But, i'm going to drop the subject now as this is prlly for another thread and Ady is still working on ESBR and Has ROTJR to do first.

With the exception of Splinter of the Mind's Eye, all the early novels focus on Han or Lando.

Marvel was able to do some flashback stories about Luke and Biggs, and even an tale about Obi Wan in his Jedi days that could make for a good CW episode with a slight rewrite.

I wouldn't mind seeing a T.V. series about Han and Lando in their early years. We hardly got any background on them. Unless you read the EU that is. GL almost put younger versions of them in ROTS, but decided against it.

The Obi-Wan Episode might be a good idea

Speaking of Jabba, he's in my latest video. :)

that was pretty cool. A little weird, but the battle scene between the Enterprise and the Death Star was done very well. I find the movements of the DS rather weird however.

One question, what was the point of the Jabba scene? Just curious

Well then by all means be happy watching your retail DVDs.

*shaking head*

Maybe he means they are unsalvageable? That's pretty much my stance on 'em.

Yeah, that's what i meant. I've seen other edits and they still don't fix the holes and continuency in the films. Ady is a miracle worker though. ;)

Star Wars - The Vader Confidential Edits - Episode I Completed and Available!
Time

I think the biggest problem with the PT is that one, Padme dies earlier then what the OT made it sound like. If it were up to me, i would've had her hide on Alderaan and have her die a short time later and then Bail Organa takes Leia in.

And two, GL didn't take in to consideration that their are new fans that won't be surprised that Vader is Luke's father because he spoiled it in the PT.

However, GL did that due to fan requests asking, "Will we see him in the suit in the movie?"

Well I was going to come up with some random Star Wars related stuff of my own but I think I'll postpone that and follow up the whole "What was the plan for rescuing Han" with an equally valid question that was raised over at cracked.com

http://www.cracked.com/article_17546_7-classic-star-wars-characters-who-totally-dropped-ball.html

Was Jabba trying to go to war with the Rebellion?

He holds 3 high ranking Rebel prisoners hostage and never asks for a ransom. Luke walks in and says free my friends or die and he just laughs at him. When Luke proves he's not messing around by killing the Rancor and gives him another chance to free his friends without any more blood shed, Jabba refuses to listen and decides to execute the majority of his hostages in a manor that only serves to entertain him and his entorage.

Jabba's refusal to bargain with Luke gains him nothing and ultimately results in the loss of everything. Was he a criminal mastermind or an idiot?

My head is about to explode :o

I just go with the plot. However, Jabba did look like he had been smoking crack in every scene

The Show is good but its missing John Williams BAAAD....

Amen! The show does have some darker more mature episodes though. For example, seeing charaters getting impaled with a light saber or cut in half.

Also, the clones have a habit of saying, "What the hell?" and "Damn!". One thing that draws me into it. Call me messed up, but i like it.

Oh yea, its a good T.V. series. There are just episodes i find questionable. Those that follow the EU can find a lot of inconsistencies. Even if not the EU, i'm sure you can find inconsistencies between the movies and the series.

I still enjoy it. I more look forward to seeing the Clone troopers though, because they really fit their personalities. Especially when it is consistent with the novels. It reminds me exactly the way i would picture the commandos in the republic commando series.

All in all, this series will definitly create a whole new generation of star wars fans and prlly keep star wars alive for generations to come.

I like the space battles and any episodes base soley, if that's how you spell it, on the Clone troopers are the best episodes. The one episode i hate is the one on Mandalore For a few reasons:

1. In the documentry as well as in the episode, GL confirmed this, Jango Fett is not a Mandalorian. Which I'm denying anyways.

2. They made Mandalore on Coruscanti looking. From what i've read about it, there are no cities, well no huge cities like the one portrayed in the show. In was mostly flat ground, lots of country and so on.

3. The Episode itself just sucked entirley

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW
Time

The first time i saw star wars was the SE in theaters. I later got the Original version of the films for my birthday and then that christmas i got the SE of the films.

I'm surprised that GL didn't think of everything that Ady has done. In a documentry or something i know he said that he didn't want to make everything look like a brand new shot, in other words not like the original versions of the film.

But listen to the fans. That's what Ady's doing and he's doing a hell of a job. :)
