I had one star wars cake  and one scooby doo and one superfriends cake.....I must say  that my all time favorite Bday cake  was A transformers one back in 1985..  Was optimus Prime. Did anyone here ever have a Bday party  at chuck E Cheese...or Putt-Putt pr Aladins Castle?

Chuck E Cheese. i think i had a Power Rangers Cake then. Still, my favorite bday was the day i got all those star wars toys and the quiz whiz, star wars edition.

It was just after i saw ANH. I remember about a week or so after i saw the movie, they at the OT out, they had the SE playing in the theaters then, and i watched the classic version of Star Wars. I'm glad i did, not that i don't like the SE, but i'm glad i got to see how different the two are.

My favourite Star Wars childhood memory revolves around this delightful commercial.

It made me an instant fan of Darth Vader and Star Wars - years before I ever got to see the films.

Reminds me of ROTS Vader. Man, star wars was always much cooler as a child. I dunno why.

Btw, this is Wedge's father. in the OT Wedge was only a few years older then Luke.

actually (if I read correctly) that is Antilles (the one Vader chokes) father, not sure tho

i think it is. I've heard the same thing.

And actually, that doesn't sound like a bad idea, lets just make a stupid fan edit depicting the scenes from the novel. when i mean stupid i mean just for fun. :p

That's a lot of stuff. i don't know about changing Organa to Antilles just because he plays no real part in the Senate and he isn't as close to the Jedi as Antilles would be.

Btw, this is Wedge's father. in the OT Wedge was only a few years older then Luke.

I like the idea of Obi-Wan being a more mysterious character and i would like anything added to tie more of the OT with the PT since in a lot of ways, they seem like there own set of films.

I want more Qui-Gon!!!

Universal just announced American Graffiti for a blu-ray release in May and, unsurprisingly, it's gonna be the Special Edition (if not an extra-special one with even more changes). I'm not the least bit surprised by this, but it once again raises some questions in my mind.

We all know what the situation is with Star Wars, but what kind of control does Lucas have over THX-1138 and Graffiti? If Universal wanted to include the original version of Graffiti, would there be anything Lucas could do to stop them?

prlly just enhanced picture and sound with some special features and deleted scenes.

Grevious didn't look cool and acted and sounded like a complete buffoon. He didn't do a single thing in his only movie to make him seem threatening or impressive.

Shit, at least Darth Maul offed a Jedi.

First of all, Darth Maul was the greatest Sith out of all the movies.

Second, according to GL, each movie he wanted to bring in one new nasty character. ESB: Bobba Fett, ROTJ: Jabba/Emperor, TPM: Darth Maul AOTC:Jango Fett/Count Dooku, ROTS: General Grevious

So, that's the general analogy.
