You guys really don’t get it, do you? Read those two sections again. This Nazi guy is being treated as if he were a happy-go-lucky nice neighbor that lives down the street. He’s not. He’s a Nazi. The normalization is sickening. .
rest assured, I would not treat him as a happy-go-lucky nice neighbor. I would want nothing to do with the guy.
There’s also a bit of racism at play.
No doubt. Tony Hovater is clearly a racist.
Yeah but he’s a Nazi.
Being a nazi, while unpopular, is legal in the United States (1st amendment). Assaulting a cop and trying to take his gun is not legal.
thankyou. 😃
It is possible the neo-nazi got preferrential treatment. But it is also possible that Michael Brown assaulted a cop, unsuccessfully tried to take the cop’s gun from him, and then charged the cop and was shot and killed in self defense. The thing is, as much as I hate the neo-Nazi, as far as I know he has not committed any acts of violence. Yet. The first amendment prevents anyone from arresting him(or killing him) merely for being a neo-Nazi.
I’m not so sure of that.
Well it’s really irritating when you say things like that. Even if you are joking, your history makes it annoying.
He’s not joking.
If you are referring to me, I was joking.
Mods please be alerted that Warb’s account appears to have been hacked. 😉
ha, ha.
agree to disagree
I’m just excited for Warb to come back and insist for pages on end that his way of celebrating Thanksgiving is the only way allowed.
I wonder how offended he’d be if I told him that our family eats Thanksgiving dinner without saying grace first, while taking a knee, and then heads to the pool for a topless swim. Oh, and the infants are breastfed in plain sight.
EDIT: We have Sinéad O’Connor playing in the background.
This is a quality post.
says you.

If you are referring to me, I was joking. This is American. You are allowed to have whatever you want on Thanksgiving.
Of course, turkey is considered the traditional mean for the day.

I was joking. Didn’t intend on annoying you. Sorry.
And no I’m not looking through your post history to give other examples
Then don’t expect me to fully understand what you refer to.
Well, not to me.
deleted. double post.
If your point is that Tony Hovater is a stupid idiotic racist and nutcase, I would agree.
yes.
says me.
I do not understand the point of your post.

It is Thanksgiving and we are supposed to eat turkey.
I really don’t like turkey.
It needs to be cooked just right. You need to be careful you don’t dry it out. If it is cooked right and it is nice and moist and if there is good gravy to go with it, I find it delicious.
Ham > turkey no matter how well the turkey has been cooked.
perhaps, but on Thanksgiving, turkey is the meal. It also makes for great sandwiches in the days afterwards.
The meal is whatever you want it to be.
No, no, no, no! On Thanksgiving, you eat turkey. Any other meal should be illegal.
What I’m hearing here is that many of your grew up in a families where nobody knows how to cook.
That seems to be case. Fortunately I was blessed with a mother that knows how to cook.

Agreed. Turkey doesn’t really taste like anything.
What do you mean? It tastes like turkey.
good point.
I really don’t like turkey.
Me neither. Maybe that’s because virtually every turkey I’ve eaten came from the food bank, but still.
typically, turkeys that are donated to food banks are the same as found in supermarkets.
