I broke up with my girlfriend a few days ago. It honestly wasn’t because of the stalker ex boyfriend, although I’m not gonna miss that. It just wasn’t working out. I do feel sorry that she has to deal with it on her own now, but perhaps she shouldn’t have taken me for granted and appreciated all that I have done to help her. I don’t have anything negative to say about her as a person, but I was just wasting my time. She was my top priority and I was the last thing on her mind most of the time. She would tell me sweet things of how much she loved me, but she only had time for everybody else but me. Time to move on with my life.

I don’t see any reason to ban him.
Then I guess the r-word is not a slur under the rules Jay posted. Because the rules clearly state using a slur results in an immediate perm ban.

Well if they have seen the movie, then what the heck is this about:
Jay has said more bans are likely as he reviews the thread. And he hasn’t even seen the movie yet so he’s spoiling himself in the process.
If mods have seen the film, they can review the thread.
I’ve avoided all but one major spoiler up to this point and would like to remain relatively spoiler-free until I have time to see the movie. Those of you who think it’s a “problem” that I haven’t seen the movie yet are welcome to volunteer as my personal assistant so you can manage my calendar and explain to my family and employer why they come in third place to a movie released right before a major holiday.
This isn’t about putting your family in third place. No one wants you to do that. The point is, if your personal life is so busy, maybe you need to delegate more.
I think we should wait for Frink to return from his temp-ban before we continue to condemn anyone else or go on endless conjecture.

I didn’t say it’s a problem that you specifically haven’t seen it. But I think it’s a problem that the most active thread right now goes relatively unmoderated out of fear to be the one that reveals a spoiler to the mods by reporting something.
Jay also has other mods that he can delegate issues to, so this complaining about having to go to into a spoiler thread is really moot since there are at least two other people that can handle the situation for him.
Jay was the one saying that he had to watch the movie first before others in that thread could be moderated. Apparently he doesn’t want to delegate these issues or the mods haven’t seen the film yet either.
