you can say what ever you like about me but i found some of the puppet effects detracted from the movies. thats just me. and merging in CG is messing with them too much. the extended vader obiwan duel in ANH was horrible IMO in the 2004 editions, it was too cutty.


they extended the duel in the ANH 2004 DVD edition? I didn't know that. As for the puppet effects detracting, I don't think they detract anywhere near as much as
some CGI effects do (IMHO).

hmm, I did not know this. Still the whole Chosen One thing rubs me the wrong way. Ditto with the Virgin Birth.

I would be very happy to have the OOT on DVD. But I still would have prefered it if he had made the PT to fit the OOT instead of making a whole new OT. I doubt a new OT could catch the magic of the OOT.

that all depends on how you interpret the words "ancient religion" maybe Tarkin was just talking about Jedi and not force users in general. Vader was Jedi.
As far as we know, Palp was always a Sith and never a Jedi. So maybe all Tarkin was saying was that Vader was all that was left of the Jedi.
