I'm positive he does, and what he has comented and done on the subject proves it. But still he is faced with a dillema: being this a free forum, who can judge if someone should be banned or not, or what one can post or not? I gotta say I've writtensome crappy posts before, does that make me a troll, or does that make me someone to be banned? Of course, there a re a few cases in which that person's presence is intolerable, and for these cases Jay has acted banning that person.

writing a crappy post every once in a while doesn't make you a troll. Writing clearly immature obscenity ladened posts that areb clearly and solely written to insult someone, and doing it over and over and over again makes someone a troll. Yes Jay has banned people, but he let one person come back the cleared should have been banned permanently. The person clearly has not learned his lesson a Jay has done nothing about him. Other trolls have joined and Jay has taken no action. Yes Jay should be very carefull and be slow to take action, but sometimes action must be taken. If you don't take action against the trolls, the trolls will start to control the forum.

I have suggested having a few areas where only selected posters would be able to enter, but Jay has pointed out to me exactly what I said, it's not fair to block someone from viewing certain parts of this site just because we want to close it to ourselves...

how bout we have certain areas, where everyone would be allowed to read, but only selected members would be able to post? Also I hate to say it, but I think this forum needs an age limit. I'd have it so only those who are 16 or older would be able to join. The would help cut down the childish posts that are increasing.

What you COULD do is to ignore the trolling and focus on what you want...

I hate it when people tell me that. That is what my parents and teachers told me to do with my bullies at school. Newflash, it didn't work. I am already ignoring one troll, but since no one else is doing same, it is not working. Ignoring them will only work if we are all ignoring them(for a long, long time), and I mean all of us. I say I shouldn't have to ignore them. They shouldn't be posting their s__t in the first place. Another longtime forum member has PMed me that he will be leaving the forum soon because of the trolls. How many good members will Jay allow the trolls to chase away? How much control of the forum is he willing to hand over to the trolls? I sympathize with Jay wanting to keep the forum as free as possible, but how far will he let it go? How freedom can be given to the posters before it goes too far.

I say it has to stop. I say Jay has a choice to make. He can have a forum full of mature intelligent posters with few limits on what can be posteds, or a forum of trolls with no limit on what can be posted. He can't have it both ways.

SEATTLE MISSED TWO FIELD GOALS, AND JUST HAD TOO MANY DAMN PENALTIES.

To me it looked like the ball barely crossed the plane while he was in the air. Thing is, is the replay did not show clear and inconvertable evidence that the ball did not cross the plane. The ruling on the field was a touchdown. By NFL rules, in order to overturn the ruling on the field, the replay must should clear and inconvertable evidence that the ruling on the field was wrong. I think you'll agree that the replay does not show clear and inconvertable evidence that the ball did not cross the plane.

I don't think the refing, though questionable, cost the SeaHawks the game. The SeaHawks made plenty of mistakes of their own. And I don't think the refs blew 6 calls. Mayby a couple, but not 6. Also, if you ask me, on the Steeler's 1st touchdown, I think the ball crossed the plane. I think it blarely crossed, but it crossed the plane never the less. (imho)

I hope a team from PA wins the Superbowl again next year, just not the Steelers.

Not to tick you off, but I think the Stillers might be PA's only hope next year as well.

Yes it is. I can understand Holmgren being upset about the questionable calls by the refs, but that is no reason to insult Cowher by not shaking hands with him. Cowher is not responsible for the bad officiating. Unless of course Holmgren actually believes that the Steelers and/or Cowher paid the refs off, which would be a ridiculous thing to believe.

If it's because any of other reason that would forbid you to access this forum, I'd understand, it'd be sad but understandable, but... if it's because of the recent posters and stuff, I'd ask you to reconsider.

It is because of the recent posters. The number of trolls keeps increasing and bringing down the quality of our forum. Jay doesn't seem to care about it. It almost seems as if he is on their side. They are taking control of our forum and nothing is being done to stop it. But I have not yet decided to leave. I am just thinking about it.

would seem to indicate otherwise. If you don't want to be accused of being a troll, don't garbage like that.

I didn't mean that there was no value in rap, it is just that it does nothing for me. Jazz and classical music suit me better.

Well, I can tell you right now I am not happy. We have these assinine immature trolls ruining what used to be a great forum. Jay doesn't seem to give a damn and almost seems to be on their side. I am seriously considering stopping my posting to this forum. I have had enough.

And Adam is going to have to get 1500 more posts before I consider him to have passed me. Remember alot of his posts were junk/spam.

You know, swearing doesn't make one cool. And not likeing swear words in rap, does not make one ignorant. One of the problems I have with rap is that I can barely make out what the rapper is saying half the time, and what I can make out is either swear words(mostly the f word) or doesn't make sense(to me).
