My S'lution to Gov't H'care
Time

*sigh*  fine.  when you get sick and need an expensive operation because you didn't go to the doctors when you should have because you have insurance,  please don't go the er for help.   I want to hoard every penny instead of saving your life.   So please just stay in your bed at home and die.

The way you want to pay for healthcare worked years and years ago.  But medicine has changed.  They can do alot more.  But it requires expensive tests and procedures and medicines they didn't have back in the day.   We can't pay for today's healthcare using yesterday's payment plan.

so you now you compare health care to car care?   Sorry but if I don't care for my car,  it died and I can either get new one or take public transportation.  I don't care for my self I die.   I think my health is more important than my car.

As for people using health insurance for stuff other than catastrophic health issues,   I think health care costs have gone up alot since that days you refer to.   Prescription medicine costs have gone up too.    There is no way people in poverty can afford doctor visits, medicine and glasses and such by themselves.

So let me get this straight,  instead of people(who can't afford to pay for doctor visits) going to their family doctor, you'd rather them go to the ER and clog that up some more???

btw, I did study history in school.

you won't get arrested, just fined.

I'm sorry but if the rich person thinks the money is better in his pocket, collecting dust, than helping to save someone's life,  maybe he is evil?

and I thought we were taxing everyone, not just the rich.

why is it ok to tax the rich for money to make war but not medicine?

So, what would happen if you got sick?

I don't know, but it's nobody's problem but mine.

it isn't just your problem when you wind up clogging up the emergency room for an illness that you could have gone to your family doctor for, if you had insurance.   I think this is one of the reasons they want to make sure everyone has insurance.

Also those that don't have insurance tend to hesitate in seeking medical and that results in the problem getting worse.  When they finally do get help, their health costs are more because they didn't seek help when they should have.

Why you don't have health insurance is beyond me.   You are asking for trouble(and I don't mean the fine you'll have to pay for not have insurance under the new legislation).    I hope for your own sake that you do not get sick.

Bottom line is that providing proper health care for everyone is the Trojan horse which will bring the further destruction of individual rights.

yes that's right, its all part of a deep dark plan to eliminate individual rights and bring about Communism.  WE WILL TAKE OVER EVERYTHING!  COMRADES!  THE GLORIOUS MARXIST REVOLUTION IS UPON US!  DOWN WITH THE CAPITALISTS!!!!   GLORY TO OBAMA!!!!!!

So... why healthcare?  Why has this become the one thing all people must have, even if it means that the cost of it must be hoisted upon the taxpayers?  Why isn't it postal service?  Or cars?  Or clothes?  OR FOOD?

OR HOUSES?

I guess we already have welfare for those don't we...

Healthcare is more expensive than food(we do have food stamps), cheap clothes from Walmart,  or even a cheap Apartment.     You don't need a car, you can take public transportation.    People making $10 an hour can probably afford these things.   Healthcare is another story,  it can be very very expense.    There is no such thing as food or clothes insurance.    But we do have health insurance.   Why?  because of the cost.  As for the postal service, correct me if I'm wrong,  the government runs that doesn't it?

Why are Conservatives so opposed to making sure everyone gets proper health care?  What is so wrong with that?

There are Christian religions that believe these people will be accounted for.  If your religion doesn't and this is a concern for you, perhaps it's time to do a little comparative religion shopping?

this is a little different that going out and shopping for new clothes.  I have been going to the same church literally all my life.  I was baptized there.   So was my brother.  I grew up.   My niece is going to Sunday school there.  My grandmother was a member there until she died.     My brother  and his wife got married there.    My family is there.   I have known multiple members of the church all my life.    It would be difficult if not impossible for me to leave my church.

Instead of telling me to leave my church, how about you answer the questions I posed above?

I didn't tell you to leave your Church.  Let me rephrase: If it concerns you that your Church doesn't address all of your Spiritual needs, one way or another, but you have strong social reasons to stay with that Church... then you need to decide which is most important to you, and then make a hard decision.

That might sound like I'm still saying you should leave your Church, but I'm really not.  I'm saying you need to decide how important your concerns are.  Then you decide whether you're going to find a new Church, or if you're going to stay where you are.

As for the answer to your question, I will give as good an answer as I can in a public forum: Some people believe they are in Hell.  Others don't.  I, for one, don't believe they are in Hell.  How about you?

leaving my church would be like leaving my family.   It would be very difficult to do.   As for answering  your question: I don't know the answer.  I guess if I did, I'd be God.  I hope they are not in hell.   It certainly doesn't seem like sending them to hell is the right thing to do.

As for the belief that all those that don't worship Christ will go to hell,  I admit I do have a problem it that I've never been able to resolve.   What about all the people whom had no chance to hear the word?  what about children that die before they even have a chance to understand?  Are they all in hell?   Hitler was a Christian, a catholic I think(although obviously not a good one),   Gandhi was not a Christian.   Is Hitler in heaven and Gandhi in hell?   What about all the people who lived and died before Christ was even born?   Are they in hell? Are the 6 Million Jewish people who died in the Holocaust in hell?   All the aborted babies whom are supposedly full fledged humans with souls, are they hell?  These are the things I can't accept.   It has caused a sort of schism between myself and my religion and my church.   I don't know what else to say.
