It’s wonderful we’re having this discussion in 2018.

Sorry.
I had to look up “trap” in the urban dictionary.
They are a pain when they don’t work right.
Thank God. Possessed, please don’t feel embarrassed to come back here. Please consider seeking medical and mental help with your various problems and please consider saying away from the meth. I hope and pray things get better for you.
I really like this video. It’s a compilation of some of the author’s favorite lines, which I feel happens to be a great representation of the show, in all of its incarnations. There’s not much from the Moffat era, if any.
I didn’t see any of Peter Capaldi
I was wondered if you had heard of the Sons Of Ben.
I have to say that I am very very concerned for Possessed. I hope all he has done is just decide to leave the forum.
Smart ground Philadelphia has,
What does “smart ground” mean?
^ not one for the footballing purist that Super Cup game 😉
Why is that?
Btw oojason, your Gov Site link in your sig isn’t working.
We’re a very friendly people, Warbler. Someone would likely explain as to why it’s not the done thing to read that rag in Liverpool (or likely anywhere) - and you’d likely be offered the opportunity to bin it, or someone may offer to do that for you.
Information and education are key.
Cool. 😃
So what would happen to me if I were seen in Liverpool reading a copy of the S*n?
oops! Sorry. I somehow missed the posts where things got heated and Frink was warned. Please forget I said anything about that and back to topic.
Jerry?
U!-N!-I!-O!-N! UNION!!!
Mine too! And my college. Ugh.
ah ha! So the team with the offensive name that you referenced in a debate about the Washington NFL team was either your highschool or college team.
I don’t want “therapy”. I think the concept is shit.
in other words, you refuse to get help. So don’t say “I don’t refuse to do anything”.
No, I said I don’t want therapy. I think my second statement makes clear that I don’t see it as “help”.
To be fair, it’s expensive; they only know about you what you want them to know; you only get an hour at a time to talk;
and they only (pretend to) care about you so long as you pay them.I would say a better solution is to have a friend to talk to about stuff like that, but I’m one to talk because I don’t have one of those either.
Friends are good, but they don’t necessarily know about the things psychology/psychiatry that a therapist would know.
Not all therapists are psychologists or psychiatrists.
True, but many are. I am pretty that those whom are not, are required to at least get some training in psychology/psychiatry.
I’m leaving in the morning and I won’t be back at all.
I do hope you are not serious about this. Just in case, I will be praying for you.
Your letters highlight that you have no idea what really happened.
that is correct, I don’t know what happened. No one does, yet the media(at least the local news that I was watching) acts like it does know what happened and that what happened was racism.
Wouldn’t that be a justification for writing to the media, rather than writing to the people in the story? Maybe I’m missing something.
I suppose I could have written to the media. I just decided to write the people involved.
btw, you do understand I didn’t really send them letters, right?
You asked for opinions regarding your letters, I gave mine. Whether you actually sent them or not, wouldn’t affect my opinion of their content.
Okay.

They are structured like “if this, then…” else “if this, then…”. I’m not sure what compels giving advice in situations we know little about.
I don’t know what is wrong with structuring them that way when I don’t know what really happened.
