maybe I am too thin skinned, I don’t know. But I don’t come to this forum to be insulted and disrespected and bullied and reminded of what the bullying in my childhood was like. I agree that one shouldn’t automatically be banned for insulting another member, but if you’ve made it clear that all you intend to do here is insult and harass and troll other members, I see no reason to keep you here.
The politics thread was once a pretty fun place, in spite of the fact it would sink into name calling and bitch fests from time to time, it always came back. But these days it’s just bashing and bashing of each other with no real substance to any of it. If it isn’t another (of the thousands) of links posted bitching about Trump
Would be complaining if those thousands of links posted were bitching about someone whose last name begins with an O or someone whose first name begins with an H? Also please bear in mind that it is the politics thread. posts with links bitching about politicians are on topic there.
then it’s another post of one member accusing another member of trolling or simple name calling. Nobody respects each others opinions at all, which is sad. I may disagree with you, but I respect your opinion. I vehemently disagree with Frink on several issues, but I respect his stances. I just wished he wouldn’t wish that I were raped because I disagree with him.
yeah, that was one of the times I thought Frink crossed a line.
I hate it’s locked, but I don’t disagree with it. As a matter of fact, I’d say that it ought to stay locked for a month or so just to really allow things to settle down and then see if people can act like adults. A 24-48 hour respite has proven to only fix things for a couple or so days until everyone gets at each others throats again.
I hope it will reopen soon.
