It is desired to say “this is very difficult”. But it is not known by Warbler how to say it.
*A sigh was breathed.*
You will not be saved by appeals to my musical sensibilities. You will be punished! You will be taken on a ship, on a long, long trip, your lips close to my lips. You will be shown the world in my eyes
Warbler is confused.

The post in question has been reread, but a few typos need to be fixed.
Passive voice is not understood for certain by Warbler. It is hoped that Warbler has gotten this correct.
Passive voice was used perfectly by Warbler 😊
This pleases Warbler.
A grammatical lesson needs to be taught. However, the lesson may be difficult to teach when one’s sentence structure is limited in this way. For the purposes of instruction, the rules are temporarily suspended. I am opened to do so, as the rules we created by me!
Passive voice makes the recipient if action the subject of the sentence. If want to make a statement about a ball, a thrower, and the action in the sentence is the throwing off the bask, I have two basic structure: I threw the ball (active); the ball was thrown by me (passive). They say the same thing but the structure is different. In the active voice, I am the subject of the sentence and I’m the one who threw the ball. I’m the passive voice alternative, I’m still the one who threw the ball, I’m still the one performing the action, but now I’m the object of the sentence, while the ball is the subject.
Most of your sentences have been correct, so don’t fret. The quite above is not. This is the subject, and it’s performing the action of pleasing. You are the object. You could have phrased it like this:
Warbler is pleased by this.
The key ingredients to a passive voice sentence are:
A form of ‘to be’: be, is, am, are, was, were, being, been
joining with the past gerund form (the form created when used with a form of have, i.e. have been, has helped) of the action verb.
‘by’ the performer of the action, though often this is implied rather than stated (i.e. ‘by me’)
Again, your sentence should have read: Warbler is [a form of ‘to be’] pleased [past gerund] by this [‘by’ the performer of the action, though this is optional].
The rules will now be enforced.
More effort will be given by Warbler in the future in regards to the passive voice.
*runs away*
It is thought by Warbler that a violation of the thread rules was committed by DominicCobb’s above post.
If I have to chose between O’Donnell and Trump, I’ll have to kill myself.

Regret will be felt by DominicCobb if the truth was spoken by Handman.
Okay
It is wondered by Warbler why the post in question has not been edited yet.
Directed at Warbler…
Your post was written incorrectly, sir. However, as generosity has been shown much today, and effort has been exerted to comply, you are forgiven. If a lesson in passive-voice is desired, you will be supplied.
This was missed by Warbler. It is desired by Warbler to understand the nature of the incorrectness of the post in question.
*sigh*
This is seen as a copyright infringement. It is a requested that that above be altered or a lawsuit is risked.
It is wondered by Warbler if his signature “*sigh*” post would be a violation of the rules of this thread.
This sentence was constructed beautifully. However, if a sigh is desired, the rules would be violated if typed in the usual fashion. It must be constructed something like this:
A sigh was breathed
This is understood by Warbler.

Of course not. I was just curious.

Why isn’t it funny?
why?
perhaps.

Ferris can you at least agree that if a Republican had been in office instead of Obama, that they would have rushed to get a replacement for Scalia instead of waiting to “let the people decide”? and before you answer, yes I know the Dems might have tried the same delay tactic.
