President Trump proposed an “IQ tests” faceoff with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson after the nation’s top diplomat reportedly called the president a “moron” and disparaged his grasp on foreign policy.
In an interview with Forbes magazine published Tuesday, Trump fired a shot at Tillerson over the “moron” revelation, first reported by NBC News and confirmed by several other news organizations, including The Washington Post.
“I think it’s fake news,” Trump said, “but if he did that, I guess we’ll have to compare IQ tests. And I can tell you who is going to win.”
what a moron
JEDIT: what a fucking moron
great, just great.
All of the sudden Warb is a Canadian. Nothing makes sense anymore.
no I’m not. What are you talking about?

The Star-Spangled Banner from the point of view of a professional musician. Very interesting.
oh, I think it is fitting that the National Anthem is difficult to sing. To me, it symbolizing the fact that our Democratic Republic was difficult to obtain.
Perhaps the time scoop will show up and then after dropping them back at the exact moment they departed, they carry on unaware anything has happened?
The SE of TFD put them back on the boat anyway.
It did? I didn’t know that. Still the original TFD did not. I think the original TFD is what is cannon.

@LindseyGrahamSC: Really enjoyed a round of golf with President @realDonaldTrump today.
President Trump shot a 73 in windy and wet conditions!
Not that it matters but
If Trump runs his golf game like he runs everything else, he has a cadre of forward-guard caddies who drop or move balls to favorable positions, and a rear-guard of caddies whose job is to applaud and praise him. He might honestly think he shot a 73.
When I think of Trump golfing, I think of Goldfinger and Oddjob.
Well, I tend to think of the fact that complained about Obama playing golf instead of doing his job.
No duffer, no duffer. You’re the duffer!
eh?
Trump’s deflection of his own personal faults onto others was exemplified in his quote “No puppet, no puppet. You’re the puppet!” (directed at Hillary Clinton). Duffer is a term for a mediocre golfer. Thus the hilarity.
right.
If we removed our national anthem, would this become our new one?
Sorry, but I don’t think so.
Literal Day.
eh?
I was kidding.
well alright

eh?
Is this Shada recreation going to be officially part of the cannon? If so how is it going to jibe with the fact that The Five Doctors used footage from it in order to include the fourth doctor?

Team America theme of course. 😉
I don’t think so.
It would be an interesting experiment if it was performed at a sporting event. I’d bet a lot of people would stand up for it.
A few winners on the podium at sporting events have had the wrong anthem played for them down the years. Some laugh it off - others were a little upset.
A ‘Top 5 Worst Sports National Anthem Screw-Ups’ type video:-
never get Roseanne Barr to sing the National Anthem. Why would you do that? She’s a comedian, not a singer. Also the whomever was responsible for the borat screw up, should be shot for stupidity.
ah, no.
Team America theme of course. 😉

“And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion,
A home and a country, should leave us no more?
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps’ pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave,
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave”It seems that some have problems with the third stanza of the National Anthem. I would have no problem altering the wording to remove the offensive parts.
Rather than deleting “offensive” portions of a really old song, why don’t we just accept that it, like all art, is a product of its time? Please, let’s stop worshiping this song!
I would be able to do that, but I was thinking that maybe African Americans might not. In order to be respectful to them, I though maybe the words to the thirds verse should be changed.
EDIT: And aren’t you the guy that is supposed to be all about “respecting” our anthem?
I am about respecting it, yes.
Isn’t revising it for a modern audience disrespectful?
not if done carefully and minimally.
That third stanza should be left as is, and let’s be honest no one even knows that stanza exists,
google Star Spangled banner third stanza. You’ll see people talking about it and complaining about it.
as an example of why we shouldn’t worship a song. It’s not perfect.
I don’t worship it. For me, worship is reserved for God and Christ. No the song is not perfect, but I believe the ideals it represents are(freedom, justice, rights, equality, those sorts of things).
My point was that we shouldn’t have a national anthem at all.
Why not? Every country has one. What would be played when an American wins a gold medal at the olmpics if we didn’t have one?
Who cares? If all America’s theme song is good for is sporting events then that shows, at least to me, that it isn’t very important.
huh?

Great.
wonderful
I’m just going to quote ABC News here on the results it got in a survey with the Washington Post to an open-ended question asking for the one word that best describes views of Trump: “The ten most common words that respondents gave were: ‘incompetent,’ ‘arrogant,’
‘strong,‘idiot,’ ‘egotistical,’ ‘ignorant,’‘great,’‘racist,’ ‘a——’ and ‘narcissistic.’”
fixed
People should leave the room whenever Pence shows up. He was an awful person long before Trump showed up.
I think we should leave the room whenever Trump shows up.
