That is a smashing set of covers, I realy like the spine and spelling out of Star Wars across the top of them, and how you used different fonts for the spine of the Original Trilogy films as well 😃
‘Dad builds epic Star Wars Millennium Falcon model for sons’ Halloween costume’:
^ Far too good for children - a more adult sized Falcon would be far better 😉
Here’s the new trailer!
Definitely looks more like Rogue One in terms of cinematography, which is the best looking SW film IMO. It’s like a hyper-realistic OT, kinda like how it was for me watching the OT when I was a toddler.
Still nothing much to go off of story wise, but definitely seems more grounded and original than TROS.
I am loving that trailer, and everything about the series so far! Two weeks to go 😃

^ I will share - 6 months each? I think we can strike a deal with the guy, though I have no Masters Of Egypt as any of my ancestors, so I hope he is okay with selling to us mere mortals!
Maybe tell him we are related to the Skywalkers, sing Yub Nub as proof, and demand a hefty discount? 😉
I have no idea if this has been posted before, but it is bad. And Mark’s outfit… ouch!
Mods! Help! I dunno how he he did it but yotsuya has spiked my computer and monitor 😉
That was one weird trip 😃

Other similar websites have been closed down for having links on them, and the various rightsholders and authorities are likely watching this place and others ready to shut these sites down if they go too far.
I think you may not be using the word “literally” correctly there. Also “there’s no risk” - the whole site would indeed be at risk. I apologize if that appears harsh.
I mean, are there other public sites like this one out there that have links to thousands of projects out in the open?
Though I will defer to the mods, other people who run the place, and those who have contributed to the site for many years such as Chainsaw and CatBus.
If other renowned editors put links up on their sites or facebook that is the risk they take on there. I am very happy that no links are allowed on here. We want this place, this creative community, this library of information to be around for a long long time to come, not taken down due to people wanting it easy and wanting links everywhere, I think?
What a start to the last season! It just picked up where it where it left off depsite the long break. One of the few shows where I want another episode to air immediately afterwards.
As Chainsaw stated, very happy that Esmail gets to go out on his terms.
Some impressive content there ooj, I love listening to The Midnight, and hoping to see them live on tour soon.
https://www.youtube.com/user/NewRetroWave/videos is a great listen - really mixing up the sounds for a more rougher and bassier 80’s sound. Thanks man 😃
Great to see the MLS doing well and progressing, and looking forward to the USA hosting the World Cup again! Soccer on the up! 😃
The USWNT too, as ever!
Edit - sorry mods, I forgot about the other soccer thread!
Not many NFL fans on here anymore? That is a shame - the Pats have had a great start!
Some absorbing footage of the coming ‘Rise of Resistance’ ride…

Some of these lyrics will win awards, maybe not good awards, but all good fun 😃
I apoligize for the bump, but given the timing:-
‘The US Navy has confirmed that certain purported UFO videos made public over the past several years do indeed show “unidentified aerial phenomena”’ - https://twitter.com/CNN/status/1174651880305307648

I always knew it would be the Navy that folded first - see you all at Area 51 tomorrow 😉
I was reading an article on the new Star Wars comics that oojason posted, and caught this link to a new article in the corner of it, regarding a new Battlestar Galactica series:
‘NBC’s Battlestar Galactica ‘Reboot’ Isn’t a Reboot After All’ - https://www.cbr.com/nbcs-battlestar-galactica-reboot-isnt-reboot
I’d no idea they were even doing a new series, let alone one by Sam Esmail (Mr Robot), and with the endorsement of Ron Moore too. But am very much looking forward to finding out more about it!
The launch date of April 2020 doesn’t seem very far away 😃
I am not joined up to twitter but that was one informative read. Thankyou doubleofive and others in this thread.
I still love George for creating all this and seeing it though the difficulties he had, but some of his claims are quite flimsy or fanciful to say the least. Surely he must know his words would came back to haunt him given how Star Wars is so often scrutinized and written about so much?
Does anyone here know of some quality dvd or bluray covers for Disney’s The Black Hole?
I’ve never liked any of the official covers, and was wondering if some talented people on here may have made some?
Or people may know where there are some?
Sorry for the bump, you guys have some great threads and projects on here.
I was born in '68 so really I grew up in the 1980’s. It was a great time - playing outside most of the year, computer games taking off, bmx bikes, Star Wars! and host of other cool, and not so cool, sci-fi films and TV. The music was pretty great too, though got a bit weird and sataurated with manufactured pop towards the end of the decade. Still some great underground scenes as well.
A shame about the 90’s though 😉
I think this was designed with book in mind.
Yet still a neat idea for us with collections of dvds, blurays and other smiliar cases:-
I just finished watching the first season of Magnum PI (with Tom Selleck) - it had been a long time since the first viewing, and really enjoyed it. Obviously a little dated in some places, yet can’t knock the spirit, story and setting of it all.
