Because they're uber kitchens, obviously.
Because they're uber kitchens, obviously.
Someone once said I look like Rod Serling when I wear a suit. I dunno about that.

Six year olds shouldn't have laptops ;-<
Yeah, they all have iPhones anyway. Don't want to spoil them too much.
Age differences start to make less of an impact as you age.
The age difference between 35 and 49 is totally different than the age difference between 16 and 30.
I'm only 23 and already I have nothing in common with the sixteen year-olds I meet; I can't imagine being friends with them, let alone having a relationship with them. I can't imagine being 30 and trying it, you're just at entirely different stages of life at that point.
I would say there's something inherently skeevy about a 30 year-old making passes at a 16 year-old (any sex).
But check out that pixelated babe in the avatar.
We have to check it out because of that, right?
To date, I have still not been in any podcasts.

Argh. Every time I think I've forgotten this...

I'm of the opinion Palpatine knocked Shimi up, and Sith mind tricked her memory. ;)
Wish I could do that.

Probably most states have some sort of petition on there. It's not a shock that the Southern states have the most signatures.
I say let'em. It'll be funny to watch when they realize that moonshine and meth labs don't make a good economy. It would also attract all the hillbillies from the remaining states. Take your country music and go. :P
Questions: Would the South be too proud to accept monetary assistance every hurricane season? Would Republicans be forced to move closer to the middle knowing they would not win another presidential election or a majority in the House or Senate without the Southern states? Would the remaining United States allow them to create a large military?
I'd figure they'd be on their own; the separation would likely be really bitter and fought against at every turn, if it did happen, I feel like the US would turn their back on the secessionists; and I dunno where they'd find support internationally considering most nations are far more liberal or "socialist" than the US is. Without the rest of the US for support, they'd collapse fairly easily, especially if it was only one state, and even if it was multiple states, especially in the event of a hurricane or other natural disaster; the US is just so interdependent that it would just be a huge mistake.
Pretty sure the military ability would be restricted as well if it even got to that point. Likely the US would just put the insurrection down if it came to it.

But who's there to say no to him this time? Is he not still to be surrounded by yes-men?
Generally I assume consulting doesn't mean making final/any decisions, but rather offering your knowledge and expertise when asked.
However, this is just me being hopeful and it remains to be seen how out-of-the-picture Mr. Lucas really is.
Yeah, big age gaps always make me wonder about the psychological state of those involved.
We're gonna have to redo the WHOLE FLAG now. UGH.
Mr. Show ftw.
I kinda wish they would secede so I could have a good laugh when they beg to be let back in.
Also, it's a lot of signatures until you realize Texas is home to some twenty-five million people.
George is staying on as "creative consultant"
Might be another fact to add to the list, Tim. =P
Also, since it's come out now that Michael Arndt was working on treatments of the films since before the sale, is it possible that the treatments Lucas was talking about being included in the deal actually being Arndt's and not Lucas' and he was just saying he wrote them to keep Arndt a secret?
I dunno if this is confirming or just someone saying it in a confirmed sounding way...

We might need a FAQ for this.
I was thinking this last night because it seems every page has the exact same three questions on it. =P
That's pretty awesome. Can't wait until I have one in my home.
Well look at you!
Isn't being on topic in the off topic forum more rebellious than conforming to tyranny like the rest of you sheeple?
All the six year-old laptops I've ever dealt with had XP discs, haha. Never had any partition stuff that I noticed until Vista came out.
But the partition thing is just as relevant as the discs, so if you can find it, certainly use that option!

Disclaimer: While I am no Civil War scholar, I do know quite a bit and I'll answer these to the best of my knowledge.
I'll be the first to say that I certainly don't have a Ph.D. in anything.
That said, I am confident that you can find the information I've given in various forms in various acclaimed history books on the subject.
Why did you destroy CP3S' childhood, D_E?
Why?

I was just thinking . . . remember how the Emperor told Luke that he had sent an entire legion of his best troops to deal with rebels on Endor? How could there be any best troops, when they are all clones?
To bring the EU into it (which is now not totally true, since The Clone Wars is basically second-level canon and therefore not really EU) ARC Troopers and Clone Commandos are trained much more differently and more extensively than is a regular clone trooper.
To bring more EU into it, by the time of ROTJ, a lot of clones had indeed been replaced by human recruits and clones of other Imperial soldiers (done in a different and less reliable way and trained less extensively than even regular clones, focusing more on a doctrine of "overwhelming force" rather than fewer highly-trained soldiers; this was done as Jango Fett's DNA samples had by this time deteriorated and the Emperor no longer trusted Kamino's cloners due to their uprising), this was due to the rapid aging of the clones because of their accelerated growth and therefore deterioration; however, at the time of the Battle of Endor, the legion of troops sent to Endor was the 501st legion, which was still a mostly-Jango cloned legion, making them "the best".

What's this talk of a Civil War? It's the War of Northern Aggression to the aforementioned AWOL party ;)
Oh Christ.
So he's not so much a Civil War buff as he is a fan of revisionist history, then?
Yeah, if you're not going to be putting it through heavy usage or anything and just want it around, I would say to reinstall Windows* (weird that you didn't get an XP disc, though) and see if that fixes it, but don't put any money into fixing it because what it would take to fix it would likely be more than what it would take to just buy a new machine.
*I am not a Linux man so I have no knowledge about it and can't speak to that.
