But TIE's shoot green too. They're small.

They're a lot bigger than a blaster.

Maybe green ones don't work as well in atmosphere, explaining why AT-ATs, despite their size, don't use them.

What about TPM, then?

This is where people start talking about their personal canon probably

Likely. Just sayin'.

there is a video game trailer i was hoping to find on youtube but its not there.  Its hard to describe. I think it was around 2000-2002, it was for star wars galaxies.  The commercial starts off with several scenes from the game, set to the music when we first realize ben kenobi is obi-wan in SW.  there was one scene with a young girl running across a grassy field,  the music at this exact moment was the same force theme when obi-wan says "i haven't gone by the name of obiwan so before you were born.  and it absolutely captivated me in a way i wanted TPM.   not long after, i was shaking my head wondering why it was a commercial for a star wars game was more moving to me than one of the actual movies !?

someday I'll find the commercial.  lol, maybe it won't hold up as well but i'll never forget that moment when that girl was running across the field.

I could have SWORN I replied to this before, but this is likely the trailer you mean.

SWG was incredibly captivating early on; I remember just being overwhelmed be the fact that I was playing a character who was me in Star Wars and hearing the opening music of the game always gave me chills because of the potential of exploration. The idea that we could finally explore the Star Wars universe was mind boggling, and for awhile, they were on the right track. Shame it went south.

Air guitar is absolutely fantastic when you're doing it and silly 5 minutes later when Live at Leeds is over and your air SG is smashed into absolute oblivion.

Cell phone reception sucks under bridges, I dunno what you were thinking.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to put on a scuba suit and swim into a whale's vagina?

I have.

I think it would be nice.

Space Jam is a legitimate film and should be taken seriously.

I should be studying for differential equations. Instead I'm looking at a black man's ass

I don't know, I was never really a big fan of beer in any large quantity. A little here or there, sure, but I'm not really a heavy drinker (or even a medium drinker) by any stretch of the imagination.

I like a shot of rum in my coke (or perhaps my eggnog around this time of year), but, again, I'm not much for a lot of it. The same goes for White Russians and the occasional glass of vodka, or one of my friend's strange concoctions.

I do seem to hold alcohol fairly well, though (I've had moments of unintentional overindulgence before), but I just don't like the feeling of being drunk; it feels weird, I don't like not being in control of myself or moving without wanting to. I feel like alcohol should just be sipped at and enjoyed over a long period so you can actually taste it.

The best analogy I can think of is this: I like spicy food, but I like when it enhances and compliments the flavours of the dish, not when it's overpowering and it's all you can taste. And that's still a pretty shit analogy.

Why did the rebels destroy the AT-At walker on Hoth in episode 5???

I'd really like to see an edit with the At-At explosion cut out. I'd rather the scene play out with the walker tripping and going down, then cut to "Wow! That Got Him!" and "I see ya (whoever he says) nice work!" then cut to he rebel troops in the trench and "C'mon!" as they scramble out into the battle field to take on the Imperial troops jumping out of the downed At-At.

This is a cool idea. I like that a lot.

One of the few memories I have of my first viewing of Empire was seeing those Rebels rush out of the trench and assuming they were going to try to capture the AT-AT, as it made no sense for them to leave a defensive position otherwise. Then it cuts to the speeders destroying it and I thought, "Oh. Well, I guess it's weak in the neck!" (by which I meant the corrugated passage between head and shoulders).
