Well that’s easy, Sir Richard Attenborough’s narration.

This is not the post you are looking for…
Check out this fascinating bit of history:
MidAmeriCon (1976) Worldcon - Preview of Star Wars
MidAmeriCon (1976) Worldcon - Star Wars Q&A
Imagine being lucky enough to have been one of the few to attend back then!
Jedit: Click here to jump to someone who sounds an awful lot like some of the posters here. =P
Man that looks exciting.
I suggested at one point having some sort of sound effect (ANH Star Destroyer flyover?) but I don’t know what SirRidley’s cooking up for that.
I’m adding engine noises, but I’ll look into adding a hyperspace exit thump.
If the Rey reaction is cut and we just see Finn’s, the rumble of the Star Destroyer overhead alone would work perfectly for getting his attention.
I only caught wind of this project a few days ago and have immensely enjoyed watching you guys perfect this thing iteration after iteration. You’re all doing fantastic work.
I don’t know if you guys ever figured out a satisfactory solution for Finn noticing the Star Destroyer. But if not, have you considered adding in that thud like sound of a ship exiting hyperspace?
This is the most hipster thing I’ve ever heard of.
You both are going to be waiting a long time.
Daisy Ridley said:
No, no, no. I am really, really excited to do the third thing and round it out, because ultimately, what I was signing on to was three films. So in my head, it’s three films. I think it will feel like the right time to round it out.
Well I didn’t see that coming!
Kathleen Kennedy’s latest statement seems about the same as her last:
Kathleen Kennedy said:
I certainly foresee movies past nine. Whether or not we carry on the Skywalker saga… you know, George always intended nine movies, and whether we continue that or not is something we’re talking about right now. If the story warrants it, we’ll absolutely do it. If it actually inspires new ideas, then we’ll probably head in that direction. We just don’t know yet.
Infinity War trailer drops tomorrow. In the meantime, enjoy these posters!

Having just completed a run through of the Jason franchise for the first time I found it both amusing and timely.
After all these years I didn’t think these films held any more surprises for me. Until earlier this year I discovered a new droid I had never noticed before! It can be found in the first shot of the Executor bridge as the Rebels are trying to sneak onto Endor in the shuttle Tydirium:

A closer examination of what’s left of the prop reveals that it’s a retooled torture droid given an Imperial makeover:

I believe this droid is the unacknowledged inspiration for K-2SO. As they share the same basic shape and height. In that same shot, a crewman approaches the droid and it towers over him. He’s hard to make out in stills, so I’ve outlined him:

So I was thinking, in line with the TFA bunk easter egg in ESBR. You might consider something like this?:

Just a thought!
I was excited before but now I’m officially hyped! Two hour premiere this Friday!
Duracell, have you ever seen Nothing But Trouble (1991)?
Man, I was ready to write off this project but they’re actually completing period authentic model effects work? Sign me up!
They were there when I saw it in theater. They must have really had their feet to the fire on that production.
I picked up the VHS season 1 set this morning. Great deal.
He can’t juggle planets, he can’t move faster than the speed of light, and Clark Kent is part of who he is, not some disguise.
This is why I prefer the early days of Superman before the power creep started.
For any fans of STAR TOURS, here are the new destinations Jakku and Crait!
It was. When people would voice the opinion that they can’t ever see the Doctor as female. The standard retort was that he was never masculine to begin with.
Personally I don’t see the new costume as very feminine. I just get a very silly Mork from Ork vibe off of it. It at least has me interested in how they’re going to depict this Doctor. Though it still seems like I’ll just be sticking with Big Finish for my Doctor Who fix at this point.

I think this is that kind of British humor that Americans just don’t get. (I know I don’t get it)
No, that’s just you. IT Crowd was great.
