Video Games - a general discussion thread
Time

Does anyone else here play any of Telltales games? If not and you're into adventure games, I'd definitely recommend them.

In other gaming related things, I finally got myself a copy of Red Dead Redemption. Living in the actual environment that the game attempts to recreate, I have to say it is SPOT ON! It is an awesome massive open sandbox environment with so much attention to detail, it's just fantastic!

The io9 March Movie Madness Poll...
Time

I didn't like Serenity at all. I've seen some of Firefly and liked it but the movie was a big disappointment. It fell into the same trap that most Joss Whedon projects do, "Let's kill off a bunch of the popular characters for the heck of it!" I could accept losing one or two but he killed almost the entire cast in that movie! So to see that film (people should not count that vote as vote for the show as well) win out over the Empire Strikes Back is truly disappointing.

STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

Don't forget Camie and Han's girlfriend that were both left on the cutting room floor....or the twins in the cantina now that I think about it.

"Leia managed to send hundreds of people to their deaths, by having them do her dirty work, so she could have revenge for some dude blowing up her planet."

Er what? She was part of a rebellion that existed before the destruction of alderaan, I don't think revenge factored too much into it or an ability to send hundreds to their deaths for a personal vendetta. It was a war of political ideals.

Anyway, love the way the AT-AT is coming out Ady. Has it been hard learning to do all this prop work?

This is a little off topic, but the problem I have with most of today's menus is that they give away too much of the movie. Someone who has never seen a movie before can have everything spoiled just by seeing the main menu. The same can be said for most of the movie trailers we see today as well. It's a sad state of affairs.
