I personally can't wait for this edit ANH:R is now my definitive version of A New Hope i can't wait until your revisited edits are complete maybe you should rename it ADYWANS Definitive Collection.
This is just an idea of mine but i have often wondered why people never really put out the whole trilogy they just do Star Wars. I want to make a custom set of the original trilogy with out any altercations, what you get is exactly that the Original Star Wars Trilogy in anamorphic widescreen. This would be the set that we should have gotten back in 2004 what do you people think?
Could any one please upload these disc in the alt.binaries.starwars section because no one post there besides ADYWAN any more and i would really like to see them uploaded there?

I have been thinking lately on how to watch the Star Wars saga i have all six films on dvd with both special editions and theatrical editions. Now do you watch them in order through episodes 1 - 6 or do you watch the Original Trilogy then Prequel Trilogy or do you just not watch the Prequel Trilogy at all. Which is your method to watching the Star Wars Saga?
I found the torrents of these but there were no seeds what so ever so i will be waiting for ADYWANS edits in stead.
I liked the CG Yoda in Episode II and III but not I they have to re do it i saw a clip of the new cg Yodo in I on the Episode III documentary which makes me believe that they will re do episode I maybe when they finally release the complete saga box set we will have these changes.
Im just not looking forward to this season at all once again its geared towards kids while the first two season were for every one and im just not a fan of it being all animated i was hoping for it to be like a cartoon but i would watch the first two seasons any day as they brought in new characters that we havent seen in the Star Wars universe.
Ugh once ADYWANs edits are finished they will be the only set i will need by the way hows Empire coming along?
Ever since buying the official dvds of the whole Star Wars saga i wanted more and found out there were these things called Fan Edits and preservations of the films and i had to see every one i could find. I have seen many fan films out there and fan edits but nothing compares to ADYWANs work as i was amazed to see Star Wars as i have never seen it before and it is the best edit our there i can't wait to see Empire and Jedi. ADYWANSs revisited is what the speciail editions should have been.
Which fan edits do you like the best im fond of ADMs Prequel Trilogy and EditDroids Original Trilogy. I can’t stand the production value of the official dvds but Revenge Of The Sith is my favorite official Star Wars dvd.
I have found these ones that im using for the 2006 release of the film.
Vaders pink lightsaber has to go the sabers need to be redone as they were in A New Hope i cant wait to see the color correction and i cant wait to see the new emperor and hopefully you'll take out "I have no doubt this boy is the offspring of Anakin Skywalker" save that for the special edition. But i can't wait for this and soon your edits will be my ultimate star wars collection with ADMs extended versions of the prequels.
Id rather go with Laserdisc than 35mm i already have the set that i want and thats the unaltered set even with the special editions!

Do we really have to go out and buy another set? I mean come on we wont be getting an Original Trilogy set with deleted scenes like the prequels the new goal of this site should be to get the Star Wars Complete Saga box set of all six films with deleted scenes and documentaries. But i am not buying another set until that one comes out i will patiently wait for ADYWANS Revisited Saga before i buy another set. Damn you Lucas Film!!!
George A. Romero's Night Of The Living Dead was the last black and white film i watched and i do have the color version but i wouldn't touch the original version because it takes out all the quality of the film. But there is no copyright law on Night Of The Living Dead so any one can own it which is the only downfall.
I would just wait for ADYWANS edits of Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi and the prequal trilogy when he does those and use them as your collection before i ever buy another Star Wars set again.
Heres my take on the Special Editons i never really saw "Star Wars" in the theaters as a kid but i use to watch them on VHS because i got them as a christmas present one year, and fell in love with the story the special effects back then wear amazing to me and i thought nothing could be better so i was use to the original cut. But once i heard that Lucas was releasing the special editions in the theater i waited in line to see each one including the prequels but the overall film quality is really bad so i do prefer the special editions over the originals because they tie it in with the pequels and sure some of the stuff was poorly edited like Lukes green light saber which makes me cringe every time i see it and i do even like Yub Yub over Yub Nub it has nice mood to the film but the most change that stands out the most is the new Emperor in Empire Strikes Back we now get to see Ian McDirmid so i do like both cuts but i prefer the special editions over the orignals. People need appreciate the special editons more and the prequel trilogy more.
I was just thinking and wanting this to happen for a long time since getting the Ghostbusters on dvd what if some one out there could make a special edition set for the first two Ghostbusters films with new special effects? I am a huge fan and can not wait for the Ghostbusters video game to come out in 2009.
I to do like this set however the production value is so bad on the quality of the original films itself i actually prefer the special editions over the original i like the covers but there not authentic at all. The quality of the originals are so awful i can't stand it i actually prefer fan edits over special editions but i do like this set because its the original cut in its full glory as people want it. But isnt it rather symbolic of the abbreviation of the GOUT looks like its saying GOUT i just thought that was funny.
I don't know why every one hates the prequel trilogy i mean the story is amazing behind it and we got to see the rise of Darth Vader. Yes the originals are classics but people should appreciate the prequel trilogy more.
