Are you doing more with the planet? The tracking of the layered images seems to move at different speeds and are not to scale across images. Sorry, not trying to be a downer, just wondering if they’ll be better synced.
Could you be more specific? Which scene/s are you referring to? They are tracked with the 3d tracker, not manually. So they should be on point. The masking does need to be smoothed out more though as i’ve only done a lot of key frames and not all 23/24 frames per second. As 24 frames per sec comes to 1640 a minute just for one masking layer and they’re are manyyyyyyy layers. Which is why in most post i re-iterate the amount of masking still to finish.
Positioning of the planet has not been exacted right now and still needs to be, but none of the scenes shown really show this. These are the scenes of the jedi at the table and the Federation guys in the command room. As the camera bounces between scenes. I didn’t include these though. The scenes in space are mostly to size of where they need to be, but not perfect.
The planet position and scale isn’t my focus right now though. Just its tracking and masking of all the other elements around it. The planet has to be switched out in some scenes as i exported the planet as a video so i could 3d track it into the scene, as tracking it manually wasn’t working. As such, the planet i exported is a full view and had to be magnified too much for some of the close up scenes, causing a loss in resolution quality and detail. So i have to export some video’s of the planet with a closer view point. I also want to slow down the cloud movement and direction they are moving as the counter movement to the planet didn’t look right imo. (clouds are going left while planet is spinning to the right)
The tracking may be what you are referring to though and why i didn’t include the scenes of the Jedi at the table or walking around it talking. Still a lot of masking to do, so the windows look like they are sliding around, which makes the planet look like its moving. Combined with the planet and cloud rotation, creates weird movement that the eye picks up.
Let me know though and ill try and fix any and everything. Just got around to pulling out the force push effect from both scenes shown in the trailer, along with the flying droid passing under the fire effect instead of over it during the Attack of Theed shot that was pointed out.
There is a shot of the Queen’s ship getting hit by blaster fire as it escapes Naboo where the masking bothers me a lot still and needs to be fixed more in case you’re also thinking of it.
Point any and everything out though and bear with me as i get to smoothing out everything. As mentioned, so many frames and layers hahaha I greatly appreciate the input and tight scrutiny 😃
