Hmmmm. Not sure what qualifies as NSFW. I did try to make it pretty pg as per cinema standards. No nudity, thrusting, etc. Also can try to make it more suggestive.
I once got warned by a mod for posting a gif of Patrick Bateman thrusting during a sex scene - the shot only showing Chris Bale’s face and upper torso, Admittedly it was off-topic - I assume the main offence - but I did also get asked to keep it SFW.
Was just unsure about things. Trying to err on the side of caution.
Haha yea i tried to keep out any thrusting from the scenes. I could see how thrusting, especially viewable from the hips upwards is too much. The scenes i showed are largely just kissing, with one shot from the back of fingers running down a back. So tried to keep it tasteful. Like i said though, im a little ways off from ATOC so ill try to see if i can’t come up with something else or where this lands.
Also, i think a gif viewable from the thread as opposed to a link to an offsite location from this site is a little different too. You don’t have to click the link if you’re at work more or less, and as long as you don’t, just being on this thread won’t show anything.

As much as the idea is “Radical!” and it does intrigue me, I’m not sure about the NSFW nature of it and how distinctly NSFW it is in comparison with the rest of the thread. I don’t know, I suppose that’s up to the mods.

Now when Padame gets blasted off the ship onto the sand dunes and Obiwan warns him that hell be expelled from the Jedi, it has more hit as Anakin has already crossed that line and his face in that moment reflects it. It gives more reason for Anakin to do what he’s doing as, he’s shared more than a kiss.
Its just an idea so far, but i did try to keep it clean (Removed any thrusting motions and nipples).
This trilogy shouldn’t feel like the originals though. The originals follow the classic hero arch, and our Heroes Han, Leiah, and Luke, should reflect the difference in their actions and choices. Where as the Prequels are a Greek Tragedy imo. Anakin’s actions reflect what Han and Luke could have become had they fallen to the same emotions and lust. Anakin refuses to give Padame up, where as Han is willing to let her go in ROTJ to Luke (not knowing he’s her bro). Luke chooses to remain pure of women, lets Han have Leiah and chooses being a Jedi (Leiah wouldn’t have chose him anyways, but from Lukes pov, he’s not pursuing against Han ) . And when the final moment comes of Sidious using lightning while forcing a tough choice, Luke chooses different, causing his father to turn finally.
Those are just some reasons why i think a lil bit more serious angle to the prequels helps. Though i could try to tone it down a little more some how. Im a ways off from AOTC so i could try to find a way to make it more suggestive somehow. Idk. Working with whats out there too.

Come to think of it, in my Ep2 edit, it follows ESB somewhat:
Establish romantic tension and frustration at the start, they go off together, make out, maybe do more, and then the big deal part at the end is a declaration of love.
Her declaration of love is what hits him hardest (I don’t recall his mother even saying “I love you”). For a man who’s given up everything for something, this is the first someone declares for him, and i would think it even more powerful than a kiss or hooking up. Plus i like the difference even between Han and Anakin. Han is willing to give up Leiah to Luke where as Anakin states he won’t let Padame be taken from him. I dont think Anakin and Padame should play as safe as Han and Leiah
Just a little suggestion: my “Keepers of the peace” AOTC edit had its problems, but I always liked one small change. Anakin and Padmé’s relationship need to be built. I’d like to have them kiss for the first time on Geonosis, before the arena sequence.
So here you could cut just frames before they actually kiss and then interrupt it. Then have Padmé say: “No. I shouldn’t have done that”. It makes their actual kiss way more “satisfying” later.Plus I feel like more intimacy and this arrangement both gives Anakin more that he’s fighting for and add’s other layers. I feel like that works backwards to the point. Makes more sense to me to re-arrange their scenes so they are shown to be together for a couple days before this kiss by the lake. It is, just a kiss. The bait, but not the hook and sinker. As her telling him she’s in love with him before the battle and getting married after is what solidifies that.
You’re pushing their first kiss and their marriage that much closer together and leaving less time. Just my thoughts

Id enjoy seeing an R rated Star Wars. Itd be a pain with all the blood simulation but i think id be pretty cool. As a kid i always liked the blood in ANH and wondered why they did away with it in the other movies. Corridor crew did some small quick vids but they were more on the ridiculous side. I later understood that the wounds were being cauterized but still. I miss the bombastic squids used in the 80’s like in Robocop haha
You know, I actually had an idea for an R-rated Star Wars, complete with sex and nudity. It’d be doable with some actors’ other works and deepfaking.
However, we have to be honest, the SW community is extremely immature and conservative about sexual material, so it would be negatively received (in public) and get a lot of spiteful attempts to stop it.
Too bad, there’s enough source material out there to make it work…maybe I should take another crack at it.

For Attack of the Clones, can anyone think of a way to cut the scene where Palpatine meets with the Jedi and Padme (at the beginning) while still communicating that some Jedi are being assigned to protect her?

I think if you reworked the scenes so this happens after there kiss by the lake (cutting her stopping the kiss). Then maybe keep some of the later scene by the fire where she points out that they can’t go down that path

I think it may be possible to rework some of this footage to “across the stars”. Though i think id still try and keep the nipples out of it.

I do plan on having Dooku speak some during the council. Especially since id like to replace Yoda and not have Yoda in my Rivised versions at all.

Thank you! Trying to base it off him in Gremlins 2 as suggested above haha So i tried to bring back some of the gray and softened his wrinkles on his forehead, eyes, and cheeks but tried to keep a little bit of the wrinkles so they weren’t completely gone.
