Any progress finding a file hosting service? And/or on the project?

So Dre, Is your idea to fine tune your GOUT regrade with these sources? Or are you looking to completely restart the timing process with these as reference?
i’m interested as well
I shall rank thusly:
(Smallish gap in quality)
(Valles Marinerisian gap)
Here the tiers (I hope my formatting shows up correctly) are more important than the sub-rankings.
Maybe I missed something, but is there any plan to release this in either apply-the-LUT-yourself-form, or full download release?
The ‘rips’ of UHD blu-rays thus far I believe are actually captures using furyHD boxes, I could be wrong
Yeah, as I’ve had more time to look at your screenshots, the colors are phenomenal. I see what you mean about the colors, I just thought the Technidisc was worth mentioning as you posted some corrected definitive collection LD shots. But your colors are far more accurate to a Tech as far as I can tell.
I think you really should have a look at the Technidisc transfer that’s available at the anatomical location. It is pretty much what you are after, that is, a saturated color version of the GOUT.
General, count me in!
DrDre, your Technicolor regrade is the way to go. Just gotta voice my opinion. The compromise grades have some inconsistencies in the color on the walls, it starts off pink, goes green, then goes magenta… the minty greens of the Tech look fabulous
Wow, those are fantastic! Probably the best I’ve ever seen them. Great work
also aren’t the Puggos interlaced, i.e. 480i? if so, a move to progressive scan would more closely imitate the nature of the 16mm film. I could be mistaken.
Do the 16mm prints have enough detail to resolve with higher resolutions? I would say a bigger improvement could be had by utilizing DrDre’s color correction tools to help with the faded section, and more cleanup.
Yeah, can I have one of yours?
I posted a few weeks ago about do a screening in China for English students and was directed here. Fantastic work, I would like to say, but I too could use links for downloading. So far I haven’t found anywhere to get them. Thanks
I want to thank everyone involved in these amazing projects and this awesome community. A lot of the stuff goes well over my head on the technical level, but its moving to see such dedication and talent going into the restorations of these fantastic films we all love so much. I am actually teaching English in China, a country where most people haven’t ever heard of Star Wars (although those who have are mostly big fans), and have an ongoing film class where we screen a movie, then discuss, ask questions, etc. I want to screen Star Wars for a group of around 40-50 people and I’ll be damned if their first experience is with the SE’s. I have been able to get a hold of the DE mkvs, but with the setup at the school I need to burn some BDs, but haven’t been able to find them around. Anyone willing to help me out with finding them?
Try the paradox. Although the link for the first part seems to be broken…
