This film supposedly takes place over a 6 year span. That’s like, really weird. Basically like cutting Luke’s story in the OT into 1 two hour film.
Not exactly. Han Solo is an already established character. We know how he turns out because of the OT/TFA. It’s not like he’s some new character that needs more movies to grow attached to.
What it may suffer from is perhaps being bogged down in laying out details/information that we, most fans, are familiar with in order to appeal to newer viewers.

It would seam so.
Larger update
New update. I have images back on the back. I know it’s dated, but I really like the retro look. Could change again or have 2 variants.
Been lurking this thread a bit, and I must say, this version is way better imo compared to the rest. In the version prior, the back seemed too vacant and empty, even with the text. And in the version before that, the images chosen for the back, I think, both “blended” and seemed out of place, if that makes sense. Here, the images posted on the back work way better, and plus the borders added adds more professionalism to it all.
The only nitpick I’d voice is that the text (the paragraph ones) in a few places is trying to fight for center stage against the background image (most notably in first and third image). It’s not a MAJOR issue, and hell, I’d use your covers as is, but my suggestion is to maybe have some kind of semi-transparent background behind the text. In other words, your text’s background could be black, but not solid black. Just faded and transparent enough so that you can see the background image and still have your text really pop out. Overall, really dig it!
Excuse me, we’re
not raking!
…so in that case, it is a democracy. Who else wants a banned sticker on top of your avatar??

The long history of the threads you’ve made suggest so, yes.

I believe the moment you “decided to add a signature”, there was no stopping you; it was too late, and this current state of affairs was inevitable.

This will make a fine addition to Tantive3+1’s collection.

“I better be careful by the way. Cause I say, for 7, I said in front of a crowd like you, ‘No matter what we do, you know, it’s going to be-- we can’t please everyone.’ The headline out of the speech? ‘STAR WARS EPISODE 7 BOUND TO DISAPPOINT SAID MARK HAMILL’ No, that was the headline! And they call me, ‘Did you say this?’ I said, ‘er, I uh you know, not in those words.’ But I said, ‘There’s no way you can make everybody go, oh, that’s perfect, that’s exactly what I wanted.’”
Seriously, it’s almost sad that these videos, I think, are meant to parody and be humorous, but by the comments, they’re taken it as if Mark is some grumpy old fart that wants to stick it to Disney and the new Star Wars. Like what?
Hey Tavor, hang in there man. Good on you for taking the steps to get out of that situation, and don’t beat yourself up too much. You’re doing the right thing and you have my support behind you, for what it’s worth. It’ll get easier as you go.
Thank you very much for your words and support. I plan to sneak out by June 7th, and thus far, it’s definitely almost numbing to think that I’m going to do this, as if I’m performing some great act of betrayal against my dad. Just for wanting independence as an adult!
At the same time, however, while guilt continues to weigh over my head, it’s more freeing to think that I was never obligated to bend over backwards, sacrificing my needs, in order to keep him happy. Afraid but yet hopeful for the future for the first time in a long time…

Who knows there might be some senators who waste time on these boards, and maybe they will read this thread and have their opinions changed.
If that’s the case, I would hope their focus would be figuring out how to get the OUT released instead of burying themselves in pointless trivialities like politics.
Oh my god.
“Let’s dispel with this fiction that Barack Obama Donald Trump doesn’t know what he’s doing. He knows exactly what he’s doing."
How does one misspell “gray”? As someone from Georgia, is it implying the distinction between “gray” and “grey” cause I totally use either spelling.
Yeah it’s not based on how often it’s misspelled, just how often the spelling is looked up. So if one is wondering which it is, that’ll make them look it up (I believe the proper American one is “gray”).
That makes sense then.

Can’t wait to see Alien Covfefent with Donald Trump on my Coreilian Covfefete.

I’m getting anxious by the day as my move out date approaches. About a month ago, I finally had a realization that I’ve been emotionally abused and used all these years by my dad but refused for the longest time that my mental hang ups/depression were the result of him; I blamed myself for my short comings, believing I was inherently broken for some odd reason. For 3 years, I’ve been financially drained of my income, become socially isolated, dependent on him or someone else for driving me to places (he never taught me), and always fail to succeed in anything since the smallest mistakes somehow warrant ridicule and lecturing rather than a positive one that fosters growth to learn mistakes. His way or the highway. Lost my own identify.
So yeah, my sleep patterns have always been bad, but it’s more of a struggle now knowing I’m taking such a nerve wracking step for myself to sever this co-dependent relationship my dad constructed, with the sale pitch, “it’s for the family, and you love your family, don’t you?”
Fuck.
Let’s just say he was a little scruffy looking.
That’s some mighty fine editing there to fit a narrative.

“[cont] But might be a good sign! Because I was really wrong about 7. I said, When I turn around, audiences will hoot holler, ‘that’s an obvious cheat!’ I didn’t foresee John William’s incredible music and the shots of Daisy; the buildup to it all. So, I was never happier to be wrong.”
Finally gave Prometheus a full watch.
Still burns me how they handle anything to do with the “Engineers” or really anything have to do with the lore of Alien. I’d argue the Star Wars Prequels fit much better into the saga in terms of looks than Prometheus does with the Alien Trilogy. Like jeez, the technology/ships displayed is too flashy/futuristic, and so unlike anything we saw in the original Alien films where it’s a lot more rustic/muted. Way too jarring for something that happens, I assume, rather close to the timeline of Alien '79.
Surprisingly, I was interested in the journey of Elizabeth and David, but looking at the trailers of Covenant, it looks like that won’t be the focus and instead I’m going to get more of the same of what I just watched in Prometheus.
sigh
Kevin Conroy is the voice behind Batman iterations involving cartoons and video games; him and Mark Hamill tend to have great chemistry in their performance that sells each character really well.
I never said I wanted to know.
“I know.”
I’m not a professional Hipster™ diagnoser, so I’ll just blindly link some article from the first page of Google that I didn’t bother to read.

Was it ever alive?
