Looking at these film’s, why does mostly every director always make the third film of a trilogy the lowest point in the series?
Nothing’s being stolen, and Doctor Who works canonically. The gender swaps actually aren’t to make women more equal to men, they’re almost all just attempts to make money on an existing property rather than come up with a new idea. The easy solution is just to not watch lazy remakes. That’s what I do.

During the Sarlaac Pit scene when Han is aiming the blaster at the Sarlaac’s tentacle around Lando’s leg, will you be keeping Han’s original line “It’s alright, trust me” or the SE “It’s alright, I can see a lot better”?
As a suggestion, I would say using the original one.
At this stage I am also not happy that he sold the franchise to Disney. I think he should have kept hold of it and simply allowed other directors to make new Star Wars movies for him with himself as Exec Producer / Assistant Director and story consultant or something like that.

But if I understand correctly, he did reach out to Ron Howard to direct TPM but he declined so whether he really did reach out to people for collaboration but they told him “it’s your movie you do it” or people really did try to tell him “you need to fix this script before we shoot it” or “I don’t think this is a good idea” but he refused to listen, or none of the above who knows.
He was a consultant on TFA and made a suggestion to Howard while filming Solo. I didn’t hear him being a consultant on the TLJ, I wonder why?
When I was young discovering SW for the first time believed, I everything about some of the things that GL had said about SW. That the SE were always how he intended the OT film’s to be, that he had written the PT back in the 70s etc.
Then on the TPM making of feature on the DVD, I saw the poor decisions he was making as a director as if he needed to take a step back and let someone else do it and when he said “Jar Jar’s the key to all this” was when I realized that he was making this all up as he was going along.
As I got older, I started to see how ridiculous some of the irrational SE changes were and from reading information from other fans learned that they were a marketing ploy because ILM was not doing that well at the time and the SE (or was it the PT?) were made to generate revenue for the company.
I also never bought into the claim that he planned Vader being Luke’s father from the beginning of writing ANH because my take on it was “then why would Obi-Wan say something different?”".
What about you guys? Old and young fans, newbie and veterans; at point in your life did you realize that GL was just full of it?
It boiled down to it being too much work for an effect that wasn’t entirely convincing all the time, in both cases (especially the icy breath one). Less that it would take too long to do and more that no matter how many different ways it was tried, it always looked at least slightly “off.”

I’m on Google looking up a good theatre to book a ticket for Glass and all these ratings from metacritic and RT show up spoiling the movie for me because when I’m willing to pay money to see a film in a movie theatre I don’t want to know a thing about it till I see it.
Wouldn’t that involve redubbing some of the dialogue?

In ANH:R the dialogue was edited to “There’ll be no escape this time”. Probably to fit in with the PT.

Is the CC of the Regrade the final version, or will more tweaks be done to it as progress goes along towards the end of ANH:RHD?

During the scene in the MF while escaping Tatooine from the Empire, Chewie isn’t wearing anything and Han is wearing his pilots gloves.
Then in the next shot of the MF going into hyperspace, Chewie is suddenly wearing his Bandolier belt and Han isn’t wearing his pilots gloves.
The UK tape of the Movie “Roar” (1981) by Noel Marshall with Tippi Hedren and Melanie Griffith contains much dialogue scenes in english, that are missed on the US BD Release and only inserted in German language on the English audio track of the German BD release.
I have the tape, and much DVD and BD releases to check.
I’m going to need something to verify that.
I don’t know if this counts, but Olive the Other Reindeer had around 2 additional minutes of footage on VHS that’s not available on DVD. It counts, but where can that information be verified?
