Should ROTJ:R be recreated in the same way PT:R was going to be?

ChainsawAsh said:

…what?

I think he’s wondering if Ady is going to completely restructure RotJ as he was planning to do the prequels.

That’s what I meant

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION
Time

During the scene when Luke meets Biggs in the rebel hangar that was later added back into the film for the SE, there’s a bit of dialogue from Red Leader saying he met Luke’s father when he was a pilot as a young boy was removed

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ovJcIFwZ3k&t=15m50s

Since the OT:R exists for the OT alone, is there a possibility reinserting it?

During the space Battle of Endor, there should’ve been heavy casualties from both the Empire and Rebel fleet afterwards, not just a majority of the Rebel pilots surviving afterwards and most of the Empire fleet being destroyed.

For ex. during the Battle of Yavin, there were many casualties to Red Squadron where in the end only Luke, Wedge and a single Y-Wing pilot were the only ones who made it and not a majority of the Red Squadron pilots making it afterwards for a happier ending.

Ady has said the entire time that only the OT is canon for his edits, and when he still planned to edit the PT it would have been altered to match the OT, not the other way around. And that he won’t be editing anything to fit the Disney films since there’s no guarantee a future film won’t contradict something he did as we learn more about the new canon - best to keep it all internally consistent with the OT itself, since that’s less likely to cause issues.

This.

My mistake
https://www.ebay.com/itm/VHS-Sea-of-Love-Directors-CUT-EXTENDED-Lorraine-Bracco-deleted-scenes-Al-Pacino-/372581935883?_trksid=p2349526.m4383.l10137.c10&nordt=true&rt=nc&orig_cvip=true

So it’s about 10-13 minutes of extended footage correct?

Sea of Love (Thrillers Edition) - VHS. Extended version of the film. Nothing noted on the box. Contains deleted scenes from tv version but uncensored.

I can’t find anything on a Thrillers Edition, Could it be the Collectors Edition?

This is it…

Great! Added.

It says 1 minute. That’s a gross understatement. I don’t remember how much difference it is but it’s probably closer to 10-13

Sorry, got the minutes mixed up. It should be around 40 minutes. Thanks for clarifying that.

Melody Time was released uncut on DVD in Australia.

Can you post a link that verifies this.

I will show a clip from this edition showing Pecos Bill smoking.

OK

The VHS, LD, and first DVD editions of Ace Ventura Pet Detective has this scene that wasn’t in the theatrical release. Subsequent DVD and Blu-Ray releases are the theatrical cut.

If the scene was realsed on DVD then it wouldn’t count.

Something I’m not seeing any Prequel fanedit talk about are the designs of the PT ships compared to what you see in the OT.

I think the reason the PT ships look so much different is because the Republic was in it’s prime, everything was squeaky-clean like Star Trek

From an aesthetic level, I don’t get how you go from this

To this

The heart of what made the OT what it is were Ralph McQuarrie’s industrial designs.

For Boba Fetts death, removing the goofy scream he makes when he’s hurtling through the air is a good place to start.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4xKHWQckfI&t=0m34s

Also, if you listen closely before he hurtles through the air you’ll hear “What the…?” is said in the same voice as the scream; not Jeremy Bullochs voice.
