I have no problem with the PT being in the databank, in fact it was an great resource when I was developing my cutlist scripts.  However, the OT and PT information should be kept more separate.  No pictures of the PT in the OT sections!

Maybe they really are clones and just got off work?

So I'm working on a cutlist script for EP1 today, and the faneditor has included a deleted scene (during the podrace) of those Cantina Band guys playing a quick bit in the crowd.  I can't remember what that alien race is called, so I go to Wookieepedia first and discover they are the "Bith."  Since -pedia sites are not always 100% accurate, I double check this info at the Star Wars databank.  I hit the Episode 4 link, and find Bith in the list.  I click on the link, and a picture pops up of the Bith playing in the crowd from the EP 1 deleted scene!

Really?  It wouldn't be appropriate to show a picture of them from ANH?

Lol your second sentence is at odds with the second half of your first sentence.  It's way to early too ask that kind of question.

My advice would be to try and pick something unique.  Even though you did come up with "The Clone War" independently, it may still be confusing to your potential audience, especially with an edit as well known as Magnoliafan's.  Kind of like you wouldn't want to call it Attack of the Clones: Revisited.

And yes, I realize I didn't offer any alternatives.  I'm horrible at that kind of thing.

I agree.  But to be fair, I was only considering that shot in isolation, rather than in conjunction with adjacent scenes.  I don't have that kind of memory.

I actually prefer the original here, as I think the atmosphere suits the mood.  Makes me want to get off the ski slope and hide away in the lodge, just like the Rebels need to do.  They need a nice cup of hot chocolate!

I just feel like most of the time the emphasis is unnecessary, and actually sort of implies that the reader wouldn't understand the point otherwise.  But I'll shut my big yapper now before I derail things any further.

Don't take this the wrong way ImperialFighter, but you sure do use a lot of bold and underlining and italics in your posts.  Perhaps it's your thing, like DAYV's all-caps or negative-1's spacing, but maybe just a tad less emphasis?  Just something to consider.

Actually, I never really blamed him for what happened.  Yeah, he should have given Alou a chance to catch the ball, but several other people are trying to catch it as well.  And he didn't pitch the rest of the inning, nor game 7 for that matter.

You know, that kinda reminds me about another thing that the prequels ended up blowing -  the 'mysterious' and 'whimsical' first appearance of Yoda to moviegoers at that time....  This is lost for anyone new to the saga now, if they feel they have to watch them in numbered 'order', as Yoda's 'first' appearance is anything but now.  And that's even before we mention his actual new 'look' in TPM, as it currently stands!

 

Off topic I know, but cap suggested watching in the order 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 6.  Interesting idea which would solve that and some other problems.

If I remember correctly, that bit where Anakin is spinning was a deleted scene as far as the Theatrical goes, but on the DVD George added it into the film.  Having said that, I hate that bit.  That magnetic tool is lame.

It was jedi93.  Quite hilarious, if you followed his Clone Wars Edit thread at all.  I sent him a reasonably polite PM saying I thought he was a bit touchy, but good luck with the edit.  A few days later he un-ignored me for some reason, then he lost his mind.  He called me a lot of names like (expletive deleted) and (double expletive deleted) because I called him out on his obvious piracy. 

I think I liked it better when he was ignoring me.  And now he's banned.  I need someone new to ignore me.  Any takers?
