Yes, but I can link to a specific post rather than the whole thread.

Dah!!! I see blatant bias here! You always turn my topics down. Both ABC and Ric Olie got their turn at being the topic, and I am way cooler, way more America, and way more interesting than both of them!
I didn't turn the topic down. VFP turned the thread to NOTHING just before your post, so your post was off-topic.
Your last post was off-topic as well. 24 hours to explain or HALL OF SHAME for you, good sir.

It's a show about nothing!
How do we know when it's over?
When something happens?

This thread is about...Nothing!!!
I suppose you could then argue that every single post would be off-topic, but I'm going to allow this and see where it goes.

Er...I suppose that almost counts. Depends how you pronounce "elves" I guess.
Guess what else?
FULL PARDON FOR ALL!!! / THREAD IS OPEN!!!
Honestly I'm still not sure what Darth is talking about. But it's all good.

See, this is what I'm talking about. I saw your original post, where you asked if we were good. But I didn't have time to respond. I come back a few hours later to say "sure, we're good" and you've edited your post to a frowny face.

Careful - you'll bring Total Biscuit back!
Well, let's wait and see if we can drum up any more interest here or at FE.org first. Anchorhead expressed interest but I haven't heard back from him yet.

I'm tempted to post a link at baseball-fever.com, but then there might be a huge wave of players.
Are any of them OT.com members?
*rebump*
Any of you guys in this thread still check it from time to time?
How about it skyjedi? Sluggo? bkev? ricardo? DAYV? We still need two or three more people at a minimum for the fantasy league.

Should Ady's threads count? There have been several memorable moments in them, particularly involving a certain Gummy Bear addict...
I think they count, depending on what happened. Can you link to specific incidents?

One funny moment (possibly impossible to reconstruct) was over on Ric's observation thread when almost all the avatars suddenly became Ric Clones much to his confusion and annoyance (he takes things far more seriously than you do Frink).
I agree that it was funny, and unfortunately I agree that it would be impossible to reconstruct. I will probably stick a link to the observation thread in the fun/silly category at some point, considering the historical value (i.e. who is Ric?).
And as always...if you don't like it, you don't have to watch (or post, for that matter).
Other than that, welcome to the forum! ;-)

Absolutely utterly definitively huge colossal super mega gigantic waste of money.
That's my favorite Japanese-to-English translated cartoon too!

So I finally decided to start watching and am like 1/3 way through season 1. I'm really loving it so far. It's a great show, I heard there'll be some pretty crazy twists though so I wont post in this thread anymore for fear of being spoiled :)
You stole my idea!
I wouldn't worry about posting. Just post nonsense that has nothing to do with the topic, and don't read any legitimate posts, and you won't get spoiled. Works for me!

No questions from me. Just don't forget to remind us a few times when draft time approaches...in a timely manner. Time.
It will be around the end of the month. I'm hoping to get everyone we need in the league before determining a date, that way we can pick a time that works for as many people as possible.

So...how many Quarterbacks can we have?
This is like arguing with a ghost. Editing your post two hours later changes the meaning of my follow up. But I suppose it's my fault for not quoting you.
Never mind.

Darth, PM sent a few days ago...
Slight update to league settings:
I changed the pitchers from 2 SP, 2 RP, and 4 P to 4 SP and 4 RP, in order to simplify things. Also added a bench spot (now 6 total) and DL spot (now 3 total).
In case you're interested, here's how the innings limit (1250 IP) breaks down:
You have 4 starting pitcher spots (SP) and 4 reliever spots (RP). You can use the six bench spots (BN) any way you want, but most people choose to use at least one or two for extra pitchers.
Let's say you use one BN spot for another starter, giving you 5 starters and 4 relievers. An rough average number of innings for the year is 200 for a starter and 70 for a reliever...
5 SP x 200 IP = 1000 IP
4 RP x 70 IP = 280 IP
Total = 1280 IP
Yahoo standard is 1250 IP, so that's what I went with.
Now, a few pitchers will go over the averages, but a lot will go under (due to injury, benchings, etc.). So often people will use another BN spot or two on an extra pitcher or two. It's all up to you what you want to do (you can carry only starters if you want, but I don't recommend it). The important thing is you can't go over 1250 IP for the year.
I expect this post will generate some questions. Ask away.
