The Extended Edition has 5.1 audio but the LFE is an upmix. I don't like the audio mix of the Extended Edition so I used the Theatrical audio wherever possible. To match the Theatrical Audio I deleted the LFE from the Extended scenes.

That's how I feel. The heroes have fought hard and long to defeat the evil, and now we are seeing them experience piece. The song is peaceful sounding, but still evokes a nostalgic feeling of "this is the end, and what was wrong has been set right." It seems wholly appropriate that the saga end with a peaceful sounding song, because unlike ANH this is not the beginning of something far bigger, but a winding down of decades of galactic conflict.

but i have one question....WHY!?

Because in that scene, the Death Star is a lame attempt to tie ROTS to SW.  If there was a few months time between the two movies, fine, but 20 years pass before SW.  Lucas even tries to jokingly (I think) address the "construction delays" in the ROTS commentary.

That was my long way of saying "it was lame."  Do you think it works, or would you suggest something different to replace the DS?

Ok, full disclosure.  I have several Z/IS/RB threads bookmarked to add later.  And somehow I completely missed this one.  How did that happen?

After laughing my ass off, I had to read it again.  I think my favorite thing is that he posted with all three of his accounts in the same thread, and used the third account to out the other two.  Priceless.

I haven't gotten to it yet, but my next addition was going to be the Darth Cold Girl Restriction Incident.
