If people took a big deep breath and thought about it for more than, say one second, then they'd realise that when they typed "...at best", they actually meant "...at worst".
I'm not against hyperbole (It's my all time favorite thing!) but somehow when it's deployed in conjunction with the words "...at best", it tends to be hyperbole of an almost alarming magnitude.

Thing is, "80% to scale" is maybe what we are used to seeing and correcting it on the prop would just make Harrison Ford walking up the ramp look "80% to scale".
What generally characterises Adywan's work is that more often than not you might not even know it's been changed e.g. What! The Falcon's headlights didn't light up the tunnel before... wow??? But I think the shake was TOO noticeable IMO. Then again the original static footage looks wrong now too LOL. I suggest the same sort of shake but less of it maybe?

ESB (cropped 16:9 2011 version) was on TV last night and I thought, what the hell, I'll gave it watch. I enjoyed it in a way that I haven't since my early teens. I got totally lost in the story, characters and JW's music.
All the Boba redubbing, added nonsense, pink lightsabers and miscolouring (I adjusted my set a bit to compensate) would normally have just depressed me, made me grind my teeth in anger and brought me right out of enjoying the story. Somehow this time I was able to largely ignore them.
On reflection I decided it must be because of the work of people like Harmy and Adywan who are hard at work restoring and recreating ESB. So the version I just watched felt like just that, a "Version" like when we watched the original 97SE. The fact that at anytime I could stick on a copy of the Despecialzed Edition and soon a copy of ESB:R, made it much easy to watch (Also the prospect of a new OT-centric ST, made the prequels much easier to forget).
So thanks Adywan (and Harmy) for making Star Wars watchable again!

Agree 100%, that would make no sense. But Luke returning to get something important from Kenobi's house (For example) might be fantastic.
