Negative One and TeamNegativeOne
Time

I just want to know why every post has "Team Negative1" signed at the bottom, when it's already said at least 3 times in every post?

Oh and if we are having a random bitch, I'm getting really sick of that Peter O'Toole gif in your signature DuracellEnergizer. It was cool at first but when it's in a thread where half of the posts have it, it gets a bit tiring on the eye. Sorry to be a grouch.

Mad Max (1979) ...this film would not be remembered today if it weren't for its sequel and its discovery of Mel Gibson. B-

I'd disagree with that one point. The amazing way the chase scenes are shot would be influential regardless of what came after. Those shots of the camera seemingly inches from two cars bumper-to-bumper grinding metal are breath taking. Tarantino would still have based the chase in Death Proof on it... but then again he knows all films, from ever ;-)

Movie posters are a lost art nowadays (have there been any good official posters in the last 10 years?), and I doubt we can make them great again. Same with trailers as well.

Well obviously that's not true. Some random examples of great posters from just last year...

...and I'm hooked on the feeling from last year's trailers.

It's "at left".

I copy-pasted from another site, they just retyped the original OCA instructions without scanning.

Here's an example of the columns:

1. I don't remember, because I didn't give it any thought at the time.

2. Depends who the others are. If it's Admiral Ackbar, I'd probably stay cool but if Lando was freakin' out too, then I'd probably join him.

3. I browse through railway timetables and directories all the time. But I've never browsed through an a-to-z of pleasure.

Episode VII: The Force Awakens - Discussion * SPOILER THREAD *
Time

With all the hullabaloo over the broadsaber and how it looked, I quite forgot to worry about how the sabers would be wielded in TFN.

So far, I'm getting a good feeling that JJ knows what is great about the OT and what sucks about the PT. So I'm hoping the fights will be back to the intense closeup swashbuckling duels of old, rather than the flashy baton twirling that we've endured for the past 15 years.

Any word on who the fight arranger is going to be?
