I think stores that have decided to open Thanksgiving Day should be boycotted. Let the employees enjoy Thanksgiving Day with their families.
I work on Thanksgiving, and I don't care.
pretty sure that is a very minority view of the people that have to work on Thanksgiving.

Is it just me, or do most people who call Superman a bland/overpowered/dick/etc. superhero happen to be people who
1. have read few to any of the comics?
2. have read only the Silver & Bronze Age comics?
3. have read only The Dark Knight Returns?
4. only know the character from the Chris Reeve movies and/or silly Saturday morning cartoons from the 60's & 70's?

Battle Droids aren't sweet. They're stupid.

We, the fans, need to let Disney know we will not tolerate a winter release.
Star Wars has always been release in May, and will always be so, even if it has to be May 2016.
Who's with me?
So here I am, sitting in Germany, watching local news from Tucson, Arizona. Weird...
German distributors are mad. "Captain America - The Winter Soldier" will be released in Germany as "The Return Of The First Avenger". Yes, that's right. Instead of the original english title, we'll get a completely different ENGLISH title.

Awesome, thanks for sharing. Do you have the audio file also?
While searching for Bonus features that Laserschwert could put on his “Krieg der Sterne” BluRay, I’ve stumbled over my old readalong books I grew up with.
I thought it would be a nice feature since a lot of german fans knew this thing. After a little research I found out, that this thing wasn’t released only in german, but also in english, swedish, dutch and other languages.
I started scanning my book and realized the quality was awful. So I decided to recreate it from scratch. Most of the Pictures were well known publicity stills that would be easy to find, at least that was what I thought. Some of the pictures were very hard, some impossible to find. Thanks to the hint of SilverWook and the kind people from starwarsarchives.com I got the last missing pictures.
So, here’s the finished book (german version)

If someone wants to recreate this in another language, I packed the textles pages (minus the front- and back-pages, since they seem to be different in every other language) in one rar file. I hope to see some other language versions pop up in the future. Have fun.

Dammit. Now I'm gonna want to buy all the Black Series figures.
I had ignored this urge to become a weird Collector type for so long...
Better start saving. Here's Wave 3 Stormtrooper.
Sixteen, huh? Okay, you guys got yourselves a thread. We'll derail it as soon as you're ready. Threadpage 401.

I am the of the stills ..
And I think it was a misunderstanding, I I have hundreds of photographs of the ILM (not from WEB) and private archives of known people who worked on STAR WARS, the forum member I offered him the pictures and just wanted to show me one small example of what I had, and I want to continue to increase my collection. Apparently he upset about this.
Another forum member very friendly and showed me some of his photographs and even perhaps have all their goodwill gesture coarse to send me photos in high resolution. (And today and tomorrow I will send many ...).
And also gave him another good material to other forum members ... I have a lot of material to share, but first you have to talk and befriend ....
My intention is not to make this a controversy, just give an alternative explanation of the facts ...
PS: Just read your post Catbus Thanks for your words ..... I send the link of the promised ....

Here's a sampler of the intro to Star Wars (Harmy 2.1) with scroll text in Spanish, as seen in Latin America in 1977. still work to do ... but it's a start. I think I can finally have STAR WARS as I saw as a child thanks to Harmy ... May the force be with you with version 2.5!!

I hope you're still planning to release those dubs!
I went there for game cover art alot...
I already have that pdf. But the scan is really crappy. That's not so much the fault of the guy who scanned it, it's more the quality of the pictures in the book and the paper they are printed on.
But thanks for keeping an eye open...

I never noticed before how the Sebastian Shaw ghost is only partially transparent. It looks like he's got this big opaque area in the middle of his body. Weirdly the Hayden ghost has this too. Did they just swap the head or something??
Still cropped ;)

I may be some time (something like 15 seconds probably).
I'm scanning the book "Krieg der Sterne - Offizielle Film-Dokumentation" which is the german version of a book called "The Star Wars Album" released in 1977. I'm about to rebuild it as a pdf in the best quality possible. I figured that both books had the same layout, so I thought I could upload the textless pages for anyone who wants to rebuild it in another language. While I was looking for some pictures of the book in google's image search, I found out that the english/american version has 80 pages, while the german only has 68 pages. There are several pages that didn't make it into the german version. Then I found a spanish version, "La Guerra de las Galaxias", which had a slightly different layout, but even some pages that the american version hadn't.
Anyone here who has a scan of the spanish version?
(It seems that there two different covers availabe)
