It's from a much simpler time when we didn't have plot arcs and stories were resolved within an hour but I guess maybe that is what I need once in while. I can't explain why I have found this show to be enjoyable because when i think about it this should be the type of show that I hate but for some reason I did enjoy it. I guess it is one of those shows that you either like or you will not get it at all and if you do get it you can't explain why. It was a fun little trip back to the decade of my birth and I don't regret watching it so that is something.
If you are looking for some light 80s escapism then give this show a shot,it may surprise you.
I know the show, because my Girlfriend is a big fan of Bruce Boxleitner. She owns all 4 seasons on DVD and she watches them once a year. I'm just glad she doesn't do that with Babylon 5.
Something odd happens when Scarecrow and Mrs. King is on TV again, and I stumble across it while zapping through the channels. It's always the same episode: "Wrong Number".

Maybe that's the reason I don't get why people have to have a phone that can do everything except maybe drycleaning. I use the phone to call other people, nothing more, nothing less.
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that I won the audiobook. I'm just sick of all the "you have to have this device with that software to play/watch/listen our stuff" stuff (same reason why I haven't bought the Making Of ebooks. No PC compatibility, no buy!). I got a movie for free the other day. Downloaded it but never watched it, because I could only watch it on my PC, because you needed special software to watch it. Instead of just copying it to my external HDD and watch it on my TV. I use winamp for mp3s und MPC for all other stuff, so I'm good, thank you.
Anyway, I'm converting the audiobook to mp3 and get rid of the audible software again.
