I like that positive attitude.

Theoretically, Fox could release ANH without Lucas's permission (unless he made them sign something as part of the prequel distribution deal) - although that might not be wise.

That's already on the way. On the legal front, copyright infringement suits are based around loss of earnings, so if you're distributing for free (only to those who have the official product) and you are not devaluing the brand, you are unlikely to get sued. That doesn't mean it won't happen.

Exactly. Because Obi-Wan's character was poorly rewritten as Qui-Gon when the bad decision was made to have Anakin begin as a child.
