Need help on this custom cover for ROTE...
Time
I'll just go ahead and write the first things that come to mind....

Perhaps you could put something big and bright under the main logo. Btw, what's the font used in that? Another possibility is having top and bottom borders to give the text a clean background. Or you could put a black box in, going between the top and bottom borders of the logo. Anything to make the text stand out more.

The OC logo would probably look better at the bottom.

If you could tweak the colour of the green on the backside to sort of match the colours of the leaves on the front side that would probably look good.

Change the unfocused image of Wicket to a focused one.

Increase the contrast slightly on the screen cap where Wicket runs down the stairs, just a little though.

If you yourself altered the front image to make it darker (blacker), perhaps you could revert that just a little. If it was dark from the beginning though you should probably leave it that way.

I like the overall look of the backside a lot. Keep up the good work =)

Paint Wars: A New Hope
Time
Yeah, it looks great Zig. Although the commander's line goes "It must have short-circuited". Easy fix. And thank you all for your compliments on the editing =)

EDIT: I saw the new intro, it looks a lot better! I'll put that into the longer version.

EDIT 2: Also, could I request you do one more image of the escape pod fallig towards Tatooine, but with a much smaller pod? It will look a lot better in the video.

Hey Ziggy, I finally got around to edit your pics together with the SW soundtrack. It turned out quite neat actually =)

I'm ready to start seeding a torrent holding a high quality version of the clip, but I'd just like to get your final approval on it before I go ahead. Because it is after all your work, and your sn is credited in the clip.

Fan DVDS with MPEG Streamclip, Premiere 1.5 & Encore 1.5...Is it possible?
Time
These imperfections you speak of, do they occur in the form of the video becoming blocky? That happened to me in PPro2.0.

The audio/video sync problems do happens fairly often to me. What I do is simply try do edit the audio where it goes off course, to re-sync it. It might be a better way out there though.

I don't know much about "MPEG Streamclip", but if you want to try an other program and see if the clip is in better sync, I can recommend DVD Decrypter. ADigitalMan has a wonderful guide on using it right on this board.

Help Wanted: with my Episode II Edit's Opening Crawl....
Time
A few radom thoughts....

Assuming you included the part of the deleted Senate scene where Padme talks about the assasination attempt, there's no real need to have that info in the crawl.

The best crawls have a powerful, mood-setting, first line (EPIV: "It is a period of civil war." EPV: "It is a dark time for the Rebellion"). Of course it's your crawl and you're free to write whatever you wish, but it is a much appretiated way to begin a crawl. If you're keeping the Naboo part however, I recommend changing to "A decade has passed since the Battle of Naboo."

Dooku being a Jedi Knight or Master isn't 100% relevant, so I would just call him Jedi. It's a minor change but you have to try and keep things as short and simple as possible in writing these.

Also here's another suggestion on shortening stuff:
On the remote world of Kamino, the
Galactic Senate has ordered the creation
of a CLONE ARMY, and debates rage on
countering the Separatists with military force.

I like your thoughts and changes to the plot. Looking forward to seeing the finished film

Question about 6-channel audio editing
Time
I'm doing this right now in my edit of Episode II. I split the 6-channel ac3 into six mono files, then imported all the tracks into premiere and put them on the timeline. I named the different tracks after what channel the file represented (LS, L, C, R, RS & LFE). If you then open the 5.1 Audio Monitor you can specify what channel the track belongs to, which'll make it sound right when editing, and then when you're done you can encode an ac3 from this, making the audio sound just right.
