Rogue One * Spoilers * Thread
Time

The cloaked figure is a clone of Anakin. He is kneeling in front of another clone of Anakin, only this one ages normally and will be the same age as the first Anakin clone by episode VIII. It’s Sheev’s plan to get the apprentice he intended to have back, and Disney’s plan to rework bad EU writing into okay canonical writing.

Is this how you spoil the movie when you know nothing

The Divergent Series: Rogue one

(People get what they deserve: shitty SW movies for young adults wrapped with nostalgia. This is getting worse every year. Ep VII looks like a masterpiece now in comparaison)

Jeeze Strana, it’s not like Star Wars is ruined. It’s being celebrated! I mean, what do you think’s gonna happen if you open yourself up a little bit? I mean, look around. This is your piers and friends all around you on this website, you know? Take the day off. There’s nothing to run from, nothing to fight.

Episode VIII : The Last Jedi - Discussion * SPOILER THREAD *
Time

“Tell me young Rey, what brings you out this far?”

“Well it’s all happened so fast for me…for the longest time I’ve waited on my home planet–”

“Tatooine, that I know.”

“No…Jakku, actually.”

“Oh, right. Well when I lived there it was called Tatooine.”

This will be in the film, I guarantee it.

SpongeBob SquarePants
Time

Post jokes, images, discussion topics, quotes, what have you. It’s about time we have a dedicated thread to the most finely crafted and memorable cartoon this side of The Simpsons. The first three seasons that is (four if you’re really stretching).

I’ve heard good things about the quality of the show since Stephen Hillenburg rejoined the production. While Season Nine has apparently picked up greatly in its humor and wit, Season Ten will give a lot more freedom to Hillenburg to put things back in place, so to speak. So here’s hoping the kids’ll be able to watch something of the same merit as the late nineties/early 2000’s era.

Also, there’s a musical in production. Never mind that, though.

The Spongebob Squarepants Movie - 35mm Re Creation (a WIP)
Time

I noticed this as well. In the 35mm trailer the pictures are as they are in the Blu Ray, so it seems I could be wrong.

Thing is, after seeing it in the theater in '04, I never thought much of it or watched it again. My interest faded, though my friends and I enjoyed it immensely at first, when the show started to grow rotten and we all pointed to the movie as the beginning of this. I only gave it a second watch in anticipation for the new second movie (that’s a story for another time).

I remembered why I liked it in the first place, but the look of the movie didn’t match at all to my memory. Long story short, I’m in a position where my memory is the most reliable reference I have. The publicity photos look much closer to what I recall.

Again, I still own a print of Paramount’s YouTube trailer, so soon I’ll have a chance to see how it should look without an awful blue filter over it. Then I should have some concrete idea on how to properly regrade the digital master.
