I wish all GOUT imagery will dissapear using Scans. Or probably make a Super Potato Despecialized Edition. Where everything was from the GOUT, awfully downscaled to a mere 360p or lower. The best April Fools Joke.

Sure

This, honestly, is fantastic:

Petr, you did exceptionally well. Congrats you’ve reached native-level speech and understanding, now you can sink into an armchair and shovel fatty shit into your mouth, if you’re going for the American slant. There is no reward but slow death. When you reach ultimate comfort in England or the Czech Republic is it different? I hope not. The BBC guy sounds very, very fancy - so maybe in Europe they’re too fancy for my pants. Waiting for confirmation.

Eftydub at MySpleen wants to hear directly from Williarob before he will re-enable the torrent.

This situation with Negative One is like when I was a kid and I was fighting with my sister - I had to ask my Dad to ask my sister to pass me the ketchup. Rob having to ask Eftydub to ask Negative One to pass this forum the ketchup is somehow beautiful. It’s a dysfunctional family, but a family none the less.

I’m testing it out with drop frame set to true, I’ll let you know if that corrects the issue. If it does, I expect we’ll need to re-up the whole thing. Anybody find any other issues? Any problems with the menus?

Hey if the BD has to be rebuilt the remaining cue marks for reel 3 could be removed I guess. This is the silver lining.

I still don’t have it though because I can only use Uloz (for religious reasons).

I don’t agree with Rey being Luke’s daughter, we should fix Luke.

They could do the same thing I did with my dog, trick him into the car by jiggling the keys and asking him if he wants to go to the park, then driving him straight to the vet. They should have Admiral Ackbar do that in the next movie.

… You mean like being startled by R2’s holo projector kicking on… like what made Luke fall backward? If he’d done it at any OTHER time, yes, it would not make sense… I always thought it worked well there. The only other opinion I’d venture is that his movement seems almost uncharacteristically smooth…

I also don’t agree with Luke falling backward and I am in favor of fixing that as well.

Platform…: Bluray (BD50)
Full Re-encode from lossless master at a much higher bitrate using professional
grade encoding software
Blu-ray format featuring Seamless branching of the '77 & '81 Crawl,
Interactive Menus with beautifully rendered 3d motion backgrounds created for us
by Donny Versiga, Fully functional Popup Menus, correct Chapter Stops,
subtitles, etc.
New capture of the Mono Mix captured directly from Jaxxon’s Swedish 16mm film

Fucking wow, that sounds killer. Especially the maximized bitrate re-encode for BD50.

SOMEBODY PLEASE PUT THIS ON ULOZ I AM PANICKING SHIT MYSELF.

In all seriousness though a huge portion of us are 100% in favor of fixing 3PO’s unexpected movements, it’s like a silent majority. You can rag on the guy all you want but it’s something I’ve been PM’ing Harmy about every week for at least 3 years and I know I’m not alone.

What is the source of his unexpected movements?

AIDS.

Star Wars Despecialized Editions - Custom Bluray Set (Released)

So with these new found powers, my current thinking is this. I’ll release 3 versions of each film.

  1. The Official release (BD25)
  • Will include as many audio/subtitle options as possible from Harmy’s official MKV release.
  • No special features (as disk will be filled with audio options.)
  1. The special features release (BD25)
  • Similar to my v.1, this bluray will include all of the special features previously listed, but will now include Harmy’s original video and DTS audio tracks for better picture/audio quality.
  • Will also include 32 subtitle tracks.
  1. The deluxe release (BD50)
  • Will include all of the official release audio/subtitles, and as many extra special features as possible to fit on a dual layer disk.

Hardcore for #3, please. Keeping the video and audio quality of DeEd 2.5 or 2.7 100% intact, and using the additional real estate to fill in the extras, on a single disc. This is where my vote goes, if it counted for anything.

I have dual layer BD’s itching for it.

Let me specify, what steps would a guy from Amarillo, Texas in his early 20s need to take in order to start a career path with film restoration as the end goal?

I WILL ASSUME THIS MEANS NO EXPERIENCE

QUESTION TWO HOW MANY BEERS CAN YOU DRINK WITHOUT THROWING UP

FYI if you answer 11 beers do not be surprised when Frink demands question 3 be answered in person and you show up to his office and he’s sitting there next to a 12 pack with a bucket taped to his head.
