Well, I'm not sure what torrents you found, but when I search Editdroid at Pirate Bay, I find four torrents, all of which are seeded. I know the speed on these torrents is kinda slow, but even at 2-3 KB/s, you'll probably finish these before Adywan releases ESB, much less RotJ. But hey, your call...

Believe me, I understand the frustration. I've been in your position more times than I care to remember. Unfortunately, I'm the only seed for several of torrents I'm seeding, and I'm not going to jump ship on those. I'm working on a workaround. If it comes out right, we'll be in much better shape.

Yeah, it's a combination of several things. First, my ISP throttles torrent uploads (although not downloads, strangely...), even when I encrypt. Second, I'm seeding all three Editdroid discs, plus Adywan's Revisited and AVCHD releases, plus miscellaneous other stuff. I'm lucky to ever get 15 KB/s total upload, then split amongst the myriad things I want to seed... All I can say is that it'll get there eventually, I'm not going anywhere.

The three main DVDs are currently seeded at pirate bay as torrents. I've had no luck finding the extras discs. Arnie.d was kind enough to seed long enough for me to finish the main set, and I'm personally committed to long term seeding on those three, but my upload is kind of slow.

If you manage to get your hands on the extras, let us know, as I'd like a set as well.

The PS3 HDD uses a proprietary, encrypted file system, not FAT32. In order to read an external drive, it must be FAT32.

As for streaming larger files, you wouldn't run into the 4GB size limit even if it were for the main HDD itself, since you're streaming the file.

Well, after viewing the preview clip, I've got to agree 100% with Adywan about adding extra ships to the AT-AT reveal. It would detract from the shot. I can see maybe adding some more AT-AT's to the battle sequence, but no ships. The matte backdrop is pretty clearly supposed to be fog/clouds, not debris from a landing or takeoff. As far as building models... awesome... just... awesome...

I'm in for a few bucks/pounds if Adywan expresses an interest in donations for his power supply troubles...

Adywan, you amaze me. I know I'm seriously new around here, but if you quit before you finish these, I think I'm going to cry...

As Ripplin points out, there are plenty of possiblities, but nothing can beat an original painting by the editor himself.

I guess the right place for this, but feel free to rant if it's not. I'm looking to get a complete set of pretty much any of the laserdisc rips out there. I currently have ESB and RotJ from the EditDroid set, and there's a torrent for ANH with about 30 people sitting at 90.3% with a gazillion (technical term) trackers, but only one seed through peer exchange doing exactly squat. So, the request part of the request:

Could someone who has the EditDroid set finish off the torrent for us or upload the files to a.b.sw so I can get them on the torrent? AND either start a torrent for or upload the supplements to a.b.sw?

OR:

Could someone upload a complete set of TR47/Cowclops or Dr. Gonzo or <insert OT LD rip here> for torrent or a.b.sw? Preferably with extras?

Basically, I can find one disc of any set, but I'm having real trouble completing a set, especially those extras...

I wasn't listed as a seed until I got the one piece that didn't hash right. Ironically, since this was the .mds file, it probably caused my bad burn (and yes, Adywan, I did select the .mds file). At any rate, I'm limiting all other torrent activity until this one gets going. I'm currently showing ~20 kB per second, and that's probably the best I can give. Of course at that rate, Adywan will have finished the rest of the saga before I send out a complete copy ;-)

**EDIT** And now the real reason I checked back in this thread... For what it's worth, ImgBurn didn't give a good copy of the disc for this. I am the proud owner of a fairly expensive coaster. Nero6 seems to have worked fine, though.

My wife and I watched ANH:R last night, and it was amazing! We can't wait for the rest. Of course, we also can't wait for the AVCHD version you're working on... Too many projects! How do you do it!? So, what's the expected wait for the other AVCHD movies? Weeks? Months? I know ESB:R is a year or more away. I also know it will be well worth the wait.

Could we kindly get someone to re-up at least ANH from this set to a.b.sw and/or seed at TPB? I'd also love to see the extras discs somewhere... Thanks!
