I've found that clip you posted of it a while back, Klingon_jedi. I've uploaded the clip via rapidshare:

Can you reupload it? I used to have it but lost it.

EDIT: ...and just after I posted that, I found it.

I found a site where you can view a small version of the the IMAX opening battle:

http://www.bigmoviezone.com/filmsearch/clips/clip.html?uniq=159&x=39&y=13

Anyone know how I can save this puppy to my harddrive?

Here you go, I found the direct link for you, right click and save as (1.9MB).

Interesting. I bought the "Complete Dossier" today, and I was surprised at how sparse the extras were. Sure, there's a couple interesting features, but no workprint or "Hearts Of Darkness" were included. That sucks. I'd be interested in obtaining a copy of the workprint, and I have stuff from here I could trade, I guess.

What could you expect? It's very rare for a company to release a workprint of a movie. We were really lucky to even the workprint of Legend. I'm sure Hearts of Darkness is stuck in legal limbo otherwise they would have released it by now.

I'd expect that they not port over footage from an obviously crap source and decide to stick it on the disc. I'm sure they have a master copy in the Coppola archives...somewhere in there. Seriously, the quality of the deleted footage on that disc is no better than what I got from BigRob. And if you are talking about the Ultimate Edition of Legend, there's only the U.S. and international cuts on there. I don't think it was released commercially, at least, not that I remember.

Also, my Paypal check cleared. That means good news.

You've got it mixed up. The Ultimate Edition is the US cut and the workprint billed as a Director's Cut.

Anyway, yeah that is good news. I just hope the auction doesn't get too steep.

Info: 2006 GOUT DVD using 'Faces' PCM Sound?

Here are the links:
DS48_DVD.part1.rar
DS48_DVD.part2.rar
DS48_DVD.part3.rar

I've downloaded it and am very grateful. It's nice to see my Star Wars audio mix collection grow. Thank you Belbucus for synching all these various tracks to the GOUT, and to Mallwalker and boba feta for uploading/providing links.

Can you please reupload part 3?

The actual jpegs DO NOT HAVE the brownish-tan backgrounds. Why? So you can print the image on kraft paper so that it will precisely match the Complete Dossier packaging. You can get a roll of kraft paper for $5 at Staples. Cut a piece that is approx. 8" x 14" (21 x 35cm) to feed into the printer. Before I print out these artworks, I add a thin black boderline so that I will know where to cut out the final insert.

Of course, when printing out on kraft paper, the images are not nearly as bright/crisp/clear as depicted. They still look good, though.

Nice. Wouldn't it be better to source it from the laserdisc though?
