New preview clip tonight. I tried out a version of "Duel of the Fates" over the Luke/Vader battle, and I really like it. It'll be posted later tonight.

It's definitely a neat concept, I don't like it better than the original way, but I like seeing alternatives even if it doesn't become my preffered version.

Its not really specified, but its just another super star destroyer. Whether its the executor or not doesn't really matter, one is in the battle and one is a little further away.

I know you really like that idea, it is interesting, but it's not happening in this edit.

If you'd really like to see it, why don't you do an edit of it with that idea included? My edit will probably have some good groundwork for it.

I hate TFU II, but it plays out a lot better in a film version than in a 4 hour waste of 60 bucks, I think. The story is okay, there just isn't enough of it.

Anybody got the games for PC? You could record some footage in FRAPS for me and save my life.

Anybody able to direct me to a good way to capture Xbox 360 footage? I'd like it to be HD but if that's not possible it's not possible. I know what I want, which is the Hauppage 1212 but thats about $190 and I can't blow that much money for one edit, unfortunately.

I have considered ordering one from Amazon and returning it within 30 days... hmm...

But if anyone has a non-shenanigans solution, please let me know!

Ok, I'm putting out an official call for help. I cannot do these shots of adding the death star into the throne room window in my own. I'm just not good enough with after effects. By the time I actually get it working George will be making the sequel trilogy and Clone Wars will be on season 14. If anyone is willing to assist me let me know.

Thanks for the responses everyone! I'm still trying to make sense of this whole "song doesn't sound like Star Wars" thing. Its from a star wars movie and includes star wars themes. I'm pretty happy with it so it'll probably stay.

Thanks! I think I like the second version better. And yeah, it's staying all together.

Also, any effects beyond color correction and things that are absolutely essential (like the death star in the throne room window) I will not be doing. I can't bare to use After Effects any more than that. It's destroying my sanity and taking way too much time for me to do. I am just not good with adobe programs, and these little things don't bother me enough to spend another two weeks getting nowhere.

I'm sure Ady will be fixing most of these things when he does ROTJ:R, so I'd rather wait patiently and see what he comes up with than half ass do it myself.
