That's how i think the chapters should be anyway. The chapters are almost little self contained stories, it makes sense to have them on their own like that.

I wasn't expecting either, I'm not that nostalgic of the show and I wouldn't consider Collateral an action movie yet that's my favorite of Mann's films. What i do expect of Michael Mann however is a solid, interesting plot and well developed characters. Both of these items i found to be almost totally nonexistant in Miami Vice. Of course, that is just me, and i can understand why some might like it, so whatever.

I'd watch Heat: The Action edit over Vice any day though, I will say that.

absolutely. I suggest ADM do it. As much as i trust everyone, ADM does some of the best extended editions and we really need this one to be exceptionally good. If he's not up for it, up for grabs i guess lol!

Yoshimi, I just saw miami vice and i definitely think you need to work your magic on that one too, lol. the amount of useless crap in that movie was ridiculous, but underneath there was a great cop movie.

Can anybody who has the series let me know if the skull cowboy stuff is good enough to use in an edit?

This probably won't be my very next project, it'll take a lot of time and thought. It'll become like Matrix Squared, where I worked on it in between other things till i had it how i wanted. right not Boon and I are working up something cool, and I've got some Once Upon a Time in Mexico ideas.

I definitely think this is one of CBB's better edits. I wish the video quality was a bit better, but I really enjoyed this version of Hannibal. Keep up the great work!

I think a Daredevil edit could be awesome, maybe a very simplified version that's just one story. I always felt this film had 2 movies worth of story crammed into 2 hrs. Or maybe even make two movies out of it, who knows!

I'd also love to see somebody take a ton of Zombie movies and make like a 3 hrs. ultimate zombie epic, showing the effects of a breakout throughout the world. That could be really, really cool.

I'd love that fan made film. Also, does anybody have anything from the TV show with Mark Dacascos? I believe it was called Stairway to Heaven. Nothing has ever been officially released on dvd, but that's never stopped us before!
