The Matrix Squared (Released)

Thanks everyone. Also, I know there are still some audio errors, but I just haven't been able to fix them. Try as I might, Womble finds a way to screw the sound up in places. I'm really sorry about that, but I think we're just going to have to live with them. If i do another version down the road, i'll use something other than Womble and re-edit the whole thing. I'm just not quite up to redoing all of it right now.

Superman by Taolar (Formally: Son of Jorel) WORKPRINT AVAILABLE

i personally like to use Sony Vegas on a lot of stuff, its a good simple program, one of those easy to learn, difficult to master sort of things. There's all kinds of stuff you can do with it if you want to study up a bit, but the basic editing is really, really easy. That would be my recommendation. e-mail me if you want some help obtaining it.

Once Upon a Time in Mexico - Extra Spaghetti Edition (* unfinished project *)
Time

Hi everyone, here’s a little something i’ve been working on. I love Robert Rodriguez’s Desperado trilogy, especially the final chapter. I also really enjoyed the deleted scenes, so I thought maybe I’d do an extended version like my Pirates edit. However, upon thinking about it, i came up with something a bit more interesting.

This film really is Rodriguez’s ode to old Spaghetti Westerns like The Good the Bad and the Ugly. He’s on the record multiple times saying he planned the film to be 2:35:1 widescreen, even though the dvd isn’t. So, what I decided to do was make this film look a bit more like the old Spaghetti Westerns. I made it extra widescreen (it’s obvious it was planned to be this way because you don’t lose a thing by adding the extra black bars) and I added a very minimal amount of dirt and slight discoloration to make it look a bit more rough and old. I think it adds to the experience of the film being a modern spaghetti western.

So, this edition isn’t meant to be an improvement, it’s just a cool little thing I made, and I think its a neat way to view the film. I’ll have it up in a few days, I’m just finishing up the subtitles for the Spanish scenes.
