Exactly, it’s the only way to see the very obscure movies or tv shows. Does anyone remember an 80’s Disney TV Movie, Mr Boogedy? A Disney family “comedy horror” movie about a boogeyman haunting a house.
I’m looking for, an 80’s movie, that I saw in the early 90’s that involves Adam & Even, the Devil & time travelling. It starts off from the beginning with Adam & Eve, & the devil tempting Eve, yada yada yada, Adam travels through time, looking for her.
Going through various periods of time, like: Egyptian, Roman, Medieval, Victorian… eventually coming to the 80’s. Whenever Adam arrives in a new time period, he always finds a different version of Eve, and she’s always with the Devil. Adam confronts the Devil, and eventually gets transported to a new time period and the process repeats over again. The final time travel segment, brings Adam to the 80’s, in a Heavy Metal/Rock Club. Adam eventually confronts the Devil and there’s a lot of 80’s Heavy Metal/Rock music playing, possibly with a Battle of the Bands.
It was an “interesting” movie, to say the least. Most definitely has a lot of cheese, but 80’s cheese.Does this ring any bells for anyone? Rock On!
After doing some more google searching, I found the title. It’s called “Second Time Lucky”, and was released in 1984.
My description was slightly off, but more or less the same. It’s not that bad, for an 80’s cheesy movie.

Yeah, I’m not a fan of musicals, in general. Though, one musical that I’ve seen, and liked, is “We Will Rock You”. A post apocalyptic world, where music has been banned. They took songs from Queen and made a great story.
Regardless of who Rogue One was supposed to be catered for, it’s definitely a good movie to start off with, if the person knows absolutely nothing about Star Wars. Much better than starting off with the PT, yes, that’s not saying much!
Obviously, the correct answer, in introducing Star Wars to a newbie, is by showing them the OT.

It was one of the movies I saw, while on vacation. Like I said, it was entertaining. Maybe it was one of those TV Movies, like from Cinemax or HBO.

^ Your explanation makes me think of ANH, when the Death Star destroys Alderaan. We never see anyone in Alderaan before it’s blown up. Yet, you still feel sad for all the life that was wiped away off the face of existence, in one fell swoop.

I get the reserved seats for movies I’ve been anticipating for a long while. Also, you don’t need to waste half the day in a line, to ensure you get a good seat and not stuck in the first row, with regular Tickets. I’ve seen the first X-Men movie in the first row, and it was not a fun experience. I’ve experienced my fare share of waiting in line for movies when I was a kid. No need to relive that for movies anymore.
I get plenty of that when it comes to waiting in line for a Concert, to ensure you get as close to the stage as possible.
The NES carts said not use alcohol. Not because it’s bad for the cart, because they wanted to sell those official cleaning carts. Yes, their cleaning carts had alcohol in it.
Haha, they actually put it on the game carts? Interesting. Well, us kids from the 80’s didn’t know the ramifications of blowing into the NES carts would have. Though, we still believed it did the trick. Oh how wrong we were.

I’ve only gone to a theater by myself once. Realistically there’s no point trying to find a group since you shouldn’t be talking during the movie anyway.
That’s a good point, I’ve gone to movies with friends, and they sometimes won’t stop talking for a certain bit of time.
Luckily that hasn’t happened too many times. The only reason I go alone is because the movie movie is 3D, and no one really wants to go see it. Also, I usually go to screenings with reserved seats, so those are normally with AVX, IMAX, 3D.
It’s the same thing with going to concerts, it’s sometimes really hard to find friends to go with, or their musical preference is complete different to mine.
Cats have never stopped from being GRRRRRRREAT! Though, they can be annoying, like when you call them to the couch, they stare at you, then decide to go in another direction to be alone.
Yes, cats aren’t pets. Humans are merely servants for them.
^ I lose count of the number of times I’ve had to gently move someone out of the way who are very busy and engrossed in their phones - as opposed to looking where they are walking - when out shopping.

The GITS trailer looks really good. It reminds me a lot like the original Anime movie. The 2 Stand Alone Complex seasons of GITS is really good. Anyone who hasn’t seen and like the Anime, should check them out.
