Rest in Peace Chuck Berry!
Rest in Peace Chuck Berry!
^Hahaha…those were the days.

Curiously, my DVD recorder has no such feature, but setting the clock is fairly simple compared to the arcane sequence of buttons our first family VCR in 1984 required. 😉
Was your first family VCR like this? This was a beast, and took up a lot of room.
Obi-Wan’s boots were collected and dropped off at the Death Star’s lost & found bin.
It could’ve been gazpacho soup, which is supposed to be cold.
King Tut, Egghead & The Bookworm.
^ I second that.
Looks great! I should have said left upper corner, as it was always on the left side. Sorry! It might also work on the bottom left as part of a signature.

Great job!
Still had too much jpeg artifacting for my taste, so I tried to clean it up a tad:
Thanks for that!
It’s like Yoda has a thick beard.
Thanks. It’s a combined effort, every bit helps.
Thanks so much for helping with this, oojason. Any suggestions on the text font, size, and color would be appreciated. 😃
No worries - though I’m only a ‘copy n paste’ MS Paint hack - the real talent on here would be able to help you out a lot better than I can (frankt, ronwlim, stealthboy, one69chev, detola, crpl_hicks, phildesfr, chrisrudd4554, chyron8472 - amongst many others etc).
Hey Oojason, I tweaked the Star Wars template you posted, just a little bit, to remove the different shades of the colour black that are the center. It now looks a little cleaner, and uniform with the colour black in the star field area at the top. I wanted to help out this cause, in anyway possible.
I hope this helps! 😃

A Star Wars detective film is a nice idea but depending on the execution it could end up being better or worse than what we got. I don’t see it as being inherently better but if you do that’s fine; we’ll just have to agree to disagree as usual. I think the best way they could have done with a story revolving around finding Luke is to have both The Resistance and The First Order have a piece of the map but have a 3rd party have the last piece and the film would be a race to see who gets to this 3rd part first. Instead of clues to where Luke is we would be getting clues to where this 3rd party is while getting information about Luke in general.
That plot device was common during the cartoons from the 80’s. Both the Good & Bad guys had a piece of map/weapon/item; meanwhile a third party had the final part of the mcguffin, and there’d be fight for it.
G.I. Joe did that a lot, heck, they even had a weapon called “The Mcguffin Device”.
If I saw that in Star Wars, it may make me think of those cartoons.
Cool!
Very nice template, it would definitely help the letter stand out. Definitely would refrain from using ‘the Crawl’ colours.
Some fonts I like: SF Distant Galaxy, Franklin Gothic Heavy, Franklin Gothic Demi & Chicago FLF. It’s not wise to use any fancy, or fonts that make the text too thin.
I have some old 80’s Disney dollars lying around, maybe they’ll take those? 😉
If they decide to sell it at their Theme Parks, then yes, they should accept it. 😃
Come on Disney, take my money!
Harmy, will you please consider doing an editor’s commentary track? Maybe you could get other people who helped with aspects of the project in on it.
I know we’ve mentioned that before, but it really would be fascinating.
That would be great and really interesting.
I can’t think of any other culture that I’d rather live in.
How about the cultures of countries 1 through 6?

Woohoo! Canada is #2!
Exactly, it’s all about the money. They can milk it til the cows come home.
First release: bare bones
Second release: deleted scenes
Third release: extra documentary
Fourth release: the original third act
^hahaha…
Blast that HDMI handshake.
The 'Burbs (1989) I hadn’t seen before until the other day. Thought it was very good but wasn’t a fan of the ending; I think closing on the “neighbourhood watch” being the insane ones would’ve suited the film a bit better.
Very good overall though, pleasantly surprised.
I’ve seen that movie many times. It’s a fun 80’s movie, especially the cast.
