I'm gonna miss that Porkins guy. Nice of him to call in before his X-Wing was blown to smithereens.
On an unrelated note, I'm suddenly in the mood for some bacon.
Anakin is derived from the Judeao-Christian stories surrounding Giants in the Bible.
Anakim (or Anakites) are the descendants of Anak, and dwelt in the south of Canaan, in the neighbourhood of Hebron. In the days of Abraham, they inhabited the region later known as Edom and Moab, east of the Jordan river. They are mentioned during the report of the spies about the inhabitants of the land of Canaan. The Book of Joshua states that Joshua finally expelled them from the land, excepting a remnant that found a refuge in the cities of Gaza, Gath, and Ashdod. The Philistine giant Goliath, whom David[44] later encountered, was supposedly a descendant of the Anakim.[citation needed]
The land, through which we have gone to spy it out, is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people that we saw in it are of great height. And there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim), and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them.—[45]It is more commonly suggested by traditional Jewish sources (such as the Midrash) that the spies saw large and powerful inhabitants in Canaan and because of their own fears, cowardice, and inadequate faith in Yahweh, saw themselves as grasshoppers in the eyes of the Canaanites, whether they were actual "giants" or not.[citation needed]

But that's the point, he is doing something about it. He's getting his kids a good foundation so they can judge for themselves which movies are good and which ones are less.

What is the big obsession with kids and vampires? A dozen years ago, everyone wanted to slay the vampires.

Hey Spence, I really liked the clips you posted.
The ending worked for me. It was nice to see Luke standing at the very end, facing the future as the last of the Jedi. It was a nice little coda. I've also never really like the Special Edition city montage, but with the ghosts gone, you need something there, so the cities work in this scenario.
The ewok celebration seemed looped and was slightly distracting.
I also really liked the sail barge treatment. It was cool to see Luke and co. finally say, "Jabba, we came to kick some a** and chew some gum, and we are all out of gum" and then do it. I think the audio could be tightened up, but visually, it really works nice.
Luke's line about pointing the gun a the deck seemed off, but maybe that was the youtube.
I'm interested to see how the rest turns out. So far so good!

I played a lot of Mega Man as a teen. And Metal Gear, Zelda, Metroid and Master Blaster. Before that it was all Atari 2600. And Pong. I've played a bit of the original Pong back in the day.
I ignored him once (I got sick of the Luca$h) but then I was missing a lot of posts that were intelligent and well thought out.
Back in Black - Hayseed Dixie
SO why are they re-casting the role? Is this some kind of reboot?
