I do like the idea of the 451236 order, as a sort of... well, it's the best we can do.
As for plans like Bingo's & Ady's... I'll believe it when I see it. So please, I'd love to see it!
:(
Did no one read my missive? Or was it simply not on-topic since it wasn't about fan edits of the existing footage?
I read it. And I, as always, enjoyed your style, you. But you forgot to end it with "And the Death Star blows up." Disappointing.
I wonder about #2 and the 'sonogram' issue. If the wonder twins are taken away from it all for their protection, wouldn't that muddle the issue for Anakin? I think Ben's words to Luke on Degobah should be followed. If Vader had any offspring, they would be a threat to the Emperor. So notPadme goes into hiding (Degobah would work for this) and has the birth. Luke is returned and his existence is leaked to the growing rebellion (or anyone, I don't know if it matters to who) and Anakin finds about it. Maybe this is what finally pushes Anakin to the Dark Side. His bride (or lover) and his friends have taken his son from him. Talk about a betrayal!
Why would Luke need to be known to Anakin/Vader? To hide Leia. With Vader's attention on finding his son, his sister remains safely anonymous. Luke is the Son of Suns (or the Son of the Son of Suns) and Leia stays in the shadows. Obi-wan knows he can watch Luke from a small distance to take care of him. Leia is really kept out of the way until her own call to adventure.
*side note* Maybe there could be a second Jedi purge talking place during the main one. This second one would be a hunt to destroy the son of Skywalker. Maybe it could echo the infant Moses and infant Jesus stories from the Bible, where Pharaoh and Herod massacred babies to stop the children of prophesy.
Yeah, it's dark, but we need Vader to be hated and feared. As he is in Episode 3, we don't pity him at all as he burns on the side of that volcano.

I love ol' ABC. Nobody overreacts to an idea or a mock-up like him. :)
My time is pretty full for the next month or so, so I don't want to volunteer any time and not deliver on it.

Personally, I don't think the prequels are salvagable in any form, as prequels
or episodes 1-3.
Tell you what...you stop repeating yourself, I'll stop complaining about it.
Can't we all just accept the fact that some of us like the prequels and some of us don't. I was under the impression that we were all pretty much of the common opinion that the original unaltered trilogy ought to be preserved. Is it really worth throwing feces at one another over something as trivial as little microscopic force generating organisms and a cartoon rabbit who steps in the poopie.
I seriously don't think there is a single person here who thinks the prequels are better than the original trilogy, or even on par. But that doesn't mean that some of us can't still enjoy them to a certain extent.
That's fair.
At the same time, I like a good skyjedi vs. frink cagematch. Good times.

Is it a matter of simply adding MORE TEXT to the back? It has a retail look without resorting to the dreaded bar-code.
Honestly, I don't think the case needs any work, it is the disc art that needs a bit of help. It still feels like it is for a fan project and not a studio released film.
Just a joke. So many releases have an unrated version, so why not something closer to the truth with Star Wars?
Homey is from Queens, what'd ya expect.
I also wonder if he is a time-traveler?
I haven't seen our washbot friends in a while, so I went looking online for answers. I found them.

The Most Useful Movie Quotes thread isn't taking off like I am hoping. C'mon guys, it's the best thread on these boards!
"Girls", you say. I've heard of them.

Would this have placed limits on the sort of story Lucas could have told?
Ye. Which is what I think would have made all the difference. When Lucas had all of his limits removed, look at what we got.
