I'm gonna skip this one and read the novel. I don't want to be distracted by the effects so I can focus on the intricate plot details and the heart-wrenching love story.

Going out on a limb here, but I think the scene would be too much. The drama of almost getting squished in the slugs teeth (note: slugs don't really have teeth) works just fine in the movie.

Are we talking about adding a planet to where the Imperial fleet is out looking for Luke or the rebel fleet at the end of ESB? The mention of the rebel fleet massing near Sullust takes place towards the end of ROTJ and doesn't really need to be seen in ESB, imho.
