I think that was inevitable for some people, too many years and a nearly a generation passed, any movie with that kind of gap, with all the stuff we've seen in the past 20 years, was going to disappoint a percentage of people. But about 3 out of 4 of the newest Indy movie reviews are good.

I have 2 tapes that I have been trying to capture for my wife using an old Dazzle port, but the driver is gone and I just don't have the memory for it. Could I talk someone in the states to do it for me? I'll cover postage (both ways) and some blanks and maybe throw in a few other items in trade if anyone can help me out. Yeah, I agree. I kind of feel that way about Star Wars Legos too, as well as a whole glob of other things I loved as a kid (like Risk) that can now be purchased with the Star Wars name cheaply tagged onto it (like Star Wars Risk).

I'll probably get a lot of crap for this also, but the Star Wars Potato Heads are equally awful.

Notice the Trade Federation/Clone Wars style landing gear on the Death Star. Now we get continuity changes from toy designers. Who is running this universe, anyway? :(

Personally, I can't stand Star Wars Transformers. They took two cool things and made something awful. I like hot dogs and I like Hershey's syrup, but I'll never eat them together (again).

Here is maybe a small thing Ady could look at:

There was two AT-AT crews filmed, but only one in the final cut. The top shot has General Veers in the cockpit with the crew, and the bottom shot has the explosion of the rebel generator from Veer's cockpit. But the AT-AT drivers are different.

The camera pans across Bossk in the shot where Han Solo in carbonite is first seen.
He might be in other shots as well, like on the sail barge, but I can't remember seeing him there right now.

Yup, Luke gets to come home to the cheering adoration of friends and family. His loving uncle and aunt, his grandmother, his best pals Biggs and Tank, the adoring Camie, those lovable sand people.

If there was a hero aspect to Luke's return, it was a very shallow one.

Not only is Anakin returning to Tatooine, but it looks like R2 is as well. And of course, because every single detail from the OT must be tied in and exploited, the Krayt dragon skeleton is there again. Maybe we'll find out that Anakin killed it :p (hey, thats not as unrealistic a possibility as it seems, given all this). Elsewhere there is a screenshot of Jabba the Hutt, apparently.

This is going to be the best video game ever.

The best version on DVD out there of SPFX is a capture from a Japanese laserdisc. It is fairly sharp, but it has burnt-in Japanese subs.
