Simian Blasphemy
Simian Blasphemy
Yeah, that's about it. I'm ok with Luke's attitude, but I really never recalled feeling the same sense of peril as an audience member.

If someone asks you your opinion of the new vacuum cleaner you bought and you say "It sucks", is that good or bad?
If you are eating some mashed potatoes and you shout "Good gravy!", is that good or bad?
I'm surprised it took that long.

It would make sense to be building the DS near a rich natural resource, which Endor could well be, so that sounds like a good idea.
That would also add some motivation as to why the Ewoks would be fighting/sniping the Imperials (not to mention it would add a layer of social commentary to a fairly straight-forward film).
Maybe scenes from EMERALD FOREST could be used?
Let's get back to that Pandora... I mean Endor idea.

I am also wondering if the scenes where Luke goes to confront the Emperor could be a bit more effective. Maybe because Luke willingly surrendered, he didn't seem to be in as much danger. Granted, Luke had only intended on confronting Vader and attempted to talk Vader into not taking him to the Emperor, but when Vader wasn't going for it, Luke just says "oh, well" and off they go.
What say ye?
1. I meant the trilogy, but it seems these three story lines are predominant in Jedi.
2. Ok, I get what you are saying about the Han and Jabba story. I think the thing that is holding me back from seeing the drama of the Han/Jabba story arc is that it is Vader who is instrumental in the capture. In a real sense, Jabba has nothing to do with it. Boba Fett and Jabba get Han by coincidence.
I am wondering if the involvement undermines this subplot? Jabba seems less threatening if he isn't pulling the strings.
That takes me back to the first three movies. I find the movies much more enjoyable when they don't exist in an expanded universe. That's my opinion. If I don't have to think about IG-88 lurking around the death star before Lando blows it to smithereens, the other faults of the movie are tolerable.

Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the SithBy Jay Antani
.... And, while I’m on it, it points to the degradation of intelligence in culture as a whole, both in America and in its imperial subsidiaries overseas.
Grade: C+
Just wanted to point out that this is the first review on the site and it's considered "fresh."
This seemed a bit harsh, but then I remembered that Shia Labeouf has an acting career.
*sigh*

The idea that ROTJ is the clear ending of the story shows an epic lack of imagination.
No but it does show an understanding of the intent of the filmmakers.
Yellow subs have infected this thread too? Zoinks!
Yeah, I used to watch 120 minutes all the time.
I remember when "Alternative" was "New Wave".
All I know is that Fink is not going to be as lucky next time.
I seriously could play the classic metroid again. What an awesome game.
I'm in the wrong thread again, aren't I?
Sort of Star Wars related:
I SAID I WAS JUST KIDDING!!
You had better not...
Let's talk about BioShock some more. My favorite feature is when you can toggle between the rockets and the cluster-bombs.
I'd need a control as well. Like pixiesticks. I'm on it!
Those are looking pretty good. I do like the bold logos on the front. The comics work very well there also. Maybe you could make an alternate set with movie posters or stills in addition to the comics. Both would look great, imo.
As far as the covers looking a little plain, maybe you could add a textured orange background instead of just the plain one.
or
Just something to give it a little gravitas.
A few days?! But I want them now!!!

I think the subs should be placed in the picture where it originally was and in its original colour. Then the work is done, everything is faithful to the original and one can make his own corrections if he wants something different.
Ditto from Sluggo. It just feels more like a movie with them in picture.

Sorry to disappoint, man. That's about as smack as I get.
I wasn't being sarcastic. Any time you dip into the EU, it must be for something serious.
So, no. I don't think I'd enjoy any new Star Wars movies. I just don't trust their creator anymore.
Cleavage? Where?!
