There’s this very famous press conference Anthony Mackie gave at the London Film and Comic Con in October 2017 where he said “They make movies for specific audiences as opposed to just making good movies”.

I think we can adapt this to the current state of Star Wars and say they tell stories for specific audiences as opposed to just telling good stories.

Movies should be made because someone had a good idea or a good story, not to please some imagined demographic. That’s how you get TROS.

and that is the exacly oposite mind set a disney/lucasfilms had if anything i think disney should lose the rights to star wars

i genuinely don’t understand disney logic here if there were making money and gaining more views it would sense but every new star wars show has lower viwers and now the merchandising is getting affected, why constantly do this, u know soon u will comeback to theaters it would be better to keep ur costumers happy u know to guarantee some financial return right ?

i am a litle disaponting by this
the morgan episodes are whatever but the barris arc goes to a direction that i very disliked not only thinks it contradicts her but its overdone by now

now that i think about it, the morgan episodes are kinda useless mainly because her motivation make no sense, she wants revenge for what happened with her sisters, but in the second episode the separatist are already dead, it would make more sense if it the character misses her home and needs a sense of belonging witch they kinda do but it way focused on the revenge side

First Thing: Recognize That You Messed Up

There is no way for you to get out of a bad situation that you caused without acknowledging that you made some mistakes and that you SHOULD HAVE A PLAN

Second Thing: Understand Why You Made Such Mistakes

Was it for money? To keep the brand alive? To compete with Marvel? To appeal to everyone? To detach from George Lucas? And Were did go so wrong ?

Third Thing: Understand What You Did Well

Rogue One, Clone Wars Season 7, Jedi: Fallen Order, The Mandalorian Seasons 1 and 2, Andor, Tales of the Jedi, Jedi: Survivor… Why are these so well accepted and appreciated? What makes them great?

Fourth Thing: Focus Less on Quantity and More on Quality

Five movies, six TV shows, seven animated series, but how many of them are good? If you actually think of the ideas that comes to your door, put projects in the hands of a trustworthy filmmakers who actually has something to tell, and let them take the time needed and format needed and then u can actually deliver something truly awesome.

Fifth Thing: Respect the Canon and What Came Before, Including What Others Inside and Outside of Disney Have Done

this show is just a waste of time, its infuckingsane that this is the 3rd star wars show that disney release this year and all of them sucks, this finale was some nice moments like the ending some mae and osha moments and the fights but everything else is not believable, and there is a new low, that they randle the fan service in a poor and boring way like say what u want about the other shows and movie but that 2 scenes was so abrupt and has no momentum or impact. The Vfx are somehow worse than before, the sets a limited but we could tolerate that if story was good or at least cohesive

this episode kinda fells like a waste of time it could be trimmed, i know that i have said this in another post, but this shows that this show didn’t need 8 episodes it needed more of the mystery that the first episode had
and like why did master sol leave if the other jedi was arriving and why did took so long to realize something so obvious
this series is ending and fells so weak and mediocre, and something that does not help is we now that the jedi are hiding something from that night, im just waiting to the moment that is showed to us
one of quality’s is the ending and the scenes with osha and smilo ren

this episode felt more like a filler, just like the 3rd episode, in a different way, it could be condensed into 10 to 15 minutes, they are putting extra stuff just for the season to have 8 episodes.
are they that 2 characters from the prequels ? i dont know but if they are is just a nothing fan service
and one more thing i just hope that the evil sister goes to that overused and generic star wars villans direction
overall just a mid episode
