my opinion on both filoni taking her place and her:
both are bad, but bad in different ways:

filoni will have better management over the projects and over which characters are used, whether those projects actually have a story to tell and how they fit into star wars lore, but 5x0 is still 0, in the end he would make the universe even smaller, always relying on the same characters who don’t really have that much story left to tell (ahsoka)

kennedy didn’t plan anything, she approves whatever gets thrown on the table and it may or may not ever get made, but that’s exactly why things like clone wars season 7, andor, visions and tales of the jedi exist, and it’s also why projects like kenobi and boba fett are the way they are

here is a review for the movie:
i’d give it like an 8.5/10, it’s a mess with a bunch of stuff going on but it’s the good kind of mess. feels like it’s kinda on purpose too. i like how it just throws you into the story. it’s not super cohesive like pattinson’s batman, but this one clearly just wants to kick off a whole universe so i don’t really mind, but also wouldn’t call that a plus either.
