But corporations and Soylent Green are. ;)
But corporations and Soylent Green are. ;)
That's the fellow who turned up in Tom Baker's last story?
An Adventure in Space and Time teaser.

These were obviously meant to be previous lives of the Time Lord called the Doctor.
And yet Susan's grandfather calls himself the First Doctor and the cricket player calls himself the Fifth.
This chap is the same Time Lord but calls himself the Valeyard.
It's a very clever retcon because it puts back some of the lost mystery of the character.
Grace never really traveled with the Doctor, if you include her you have to include Jackie Tyler as a companion.
Could some of those have been Morbius's past incarnations though? Haven't seen that story in ages.
Can we at least wait until we see a teaser before we make such judgements? ;)

Play nice kids, or at least take it elsewhere...
If anyone has conclusive evidence that a certain person has returned, please let the mods know about it.

Look Who's back... He is such a fibber (mini-episode time).
Was that the Sisterhood from Brain of Morbius?
Is that a recent photo? I like the outfit better than what he wore in the tv movie.
JEDIT: I should have clicked on the youtube link first. ;)
I would think it was an exclusive rental window thing? Blockbuster Video was still king of the hill at the time.
Would be interesting to see what this LD release looks like. Presumably it's open matte...
There's only one character, as far as we know, who actually was in the prequels and hasn't had their memory wiped. Something might be mentioned if it has bearing on what our heroes have to deal with now, but only in the same way we would talk about a historical event that happened over fifty years ago.
There's no need to mention midichlorians out loud. We know what Jedis are and what they can do, and the Force doesn't need technobabble explanations to slow down the plot. Luke probably has trained an entire new generation by now, and they're doing the recruitment and training offscreen somewhere.
A hologram or portrait of Padme seen in Leia's residence is more than enough.
I'd be interested in knowing if the freezer trick actually works. (And any other crazy ideas.) I had a major crash last month, but the thankfully few items I didn't have backups for can't justify the high cost of a professional data recovery.
Maybe I should just hurl the POS against the wall or something. ;)

I know, but I still feel how I feel. Do I speak for everybody when I say that Chewie shouldn't be dead in the sequel trilogy just because a book says he is?
Peter Mayhew has gone through a lot of surgery and pain to walk again, and has stated his intention to return to the role. Chewie had damn well better be in the movie.

EU aside, I think that if any of the OT characters are to die, it would be Han.
I think it's safe to say that Harrison Ford is signing on so he can die like he originally wanted to in ROTJ. Lucas can't really say "no" anymore, can he?
If it's a good death, one that has meaning, and saves the day, I can live with it. I may cry into my Icee though.
Has anyone ever actually been cast from one of these things? They reek of a publicity stunt.

Only if you believe in them. ;)
Not bad! Reminds of when I synced footage from Hardware Wars to the same trailer audio.
Perhaps it's time to take this elsewhere?
Contrary to popular belief, mods are not omniscient. If you see shenanigans, tell a mod.
When Kubrick and Lucas collide.
Has anyone ever been actually been cast from an open audition? These things have smacked of publicity stunts in the past.
Cease and desist letters?
