Fan Edits getting "trolled" by new kids on the block
Time

Let's keep outside drama to a minimum. Some have been lurking here to feed their comments about us for a while, but it's not really worth the time to engage them. I doubt they're after serious debate.

From what I've been reading over at MF.com, a few of them have burned some serious bridges in the fandom lately with their shenanigans. It gave me a whole new perspective on things around here.

Alright guys, I've went ahead and released a video breaking down the Star Wars: Battlefront in-engine footage reveal and the new trailer for the new movie The Force Awakens giving speculation on both. If you enjoy games and enjoy Star Wars and have the time to invest; watch the video. There's alot of info in here you don't want to miss.

Cheers!

As I was taught a camera tripod was your friend, I found shaky cam to be distracting, amateur looking, and gave me a slight headache if I watched it too long.

I've seen real WWII combat footage where the cameraman held steady while a Japanese Zero crashed right in front of them. I think a movie ought to be able to do the same in a fantasy situation.

I doubt there will be much of it in the movie, at least I hope not!

The official "Who is going to Star Wars Celebration, Anaheim California, April 2015?" thread

Bloodthirsty crowd. O_O

Was the 3D conversion any good? ROTS was the one I would have gone to see in theaters had they kept to the release plan.

And yes, making peace with the prequels is key to a happy healthy life. A monthly dose of the Ridiculous edits helps too. ;)

*Nods*

There was an expectation after ESB that Star Wars was going to go on long enough for the actors to grow old in their parts. Weird Al referenced this in his Yoda song.

Starlog magazine even made jokes about their early 21st century incarnation that would come on a computer disk, and feature an interview with an aged Mark Hamill in his Jedi Master costume on the set of the latest episode. They couldn't predict their own demise, alas.

I cried, therefore I am a fanboy now. :(

In 2005, we all thought Star Wars was over and done with. That we're getting a new movie with the original characters in it at all feels like a miracle. That's what people are reacting to. Maybe it's cynical marketing, but it's Star Wars, darnit!
